Ive been sitting all day working on this new remix of a track by a japanese guy called HuTi. I found him on soundcloud and totally fell in love with his tracks.

So when he uploaded a new track earlier i freestyled a bootleg from it. I let most of the track build itself from effect returns this time. The ambience is alot of delays and reverbs which i have post-controlled with duckers and filters. The lead pluck sound comes from a redesigned synth kick :>
Im gonna discuss with HuTi what he wants to do with the song when i get the opportunity. If he just wants to make it a free release, ill update this post with a download link later on for those who wants it.
Also, Huti's page if you want to listen to his tracks. Its pretty cool stuff. http://soundcloud.com/huti
Enjoy! /K

To get that clap sound, simply revert a clap and put it before the first sample.
The sound takes some practice, but basically its about evening the sounds over the frequency range and then boosting them. Try to make contrasts in the pan range aswell. Dont pan everything out evenly, it wont sound wide, just messy. Pan a few high energy sounds all the way out and keep others directly in the middle.
I use Dada Life's Sausage Fattener alot to give sounds fatness boost. I even use it moderatelly on the master sometimes (i did here). I also do a final compression with L3 MultiMaximizer. Also use quality sounds and samples from the start

This is pretty legit^^ EDIT: Mind if I upload it to Grooveshark?
|
download enabled. upload it whereever you want
|
Well that's odd >_> The sample rate in the problem is too high seems 148000 Hz is too high, it wants a sample rate of 44100 Hz; that's too bad
|
that doesnt make sense. The song is rendered as a 320kbps 44,1khz 16bit mp3
edit: sorry, the mp3 converter turns it into 48khz. i cant do anything about it at this very minute but ill look into it.
here is a wave file to be transformed into what format you want:

upload will take aprox 10min from this edit.
