Once upon a time in a land called Antiga Shipyard There was a young terran named Constantine. He knew not how to make tanks, t'would be too hard, So instead he made nothing but marine.
His Zerg foe swatted away his attacks like they were nothing Young Constantine could not figure out his secret! So he set out again and again to kill baneling But alas his efforts only resulted in regret.
The evil zerg questioned his knowledge and cunning But our hero knew he was smart and wise! This could not stand, he must stop running He thought to himself: "I'll make him think twice!"
Those damned mutalisks were surely the problem! They are fast and nimble Of course no tanks could not have caused them! Even IdrA must concede they're imba!
I sat stunned, giggling with delight, As he mumbled his dying words to me. What would it be? Something trite? Alas, he beat me on upgrades GG.

I don't think it's the upgrades part. He beat you on everything... everything... and still lost. Ridiculous. Someone should explain to him the meaning of "beating." =]
lol what......... the excuses people throw out are ridiculous. This guy is a shining example of the failure mindset. shortfuse and apparently every game is never his fault., nevermind he let P4ND get on 999999 bases.
Zerg is so imba. I mean, we have things that COUNTER MARINES ? What the hell ? Even if marines have better upgrades. Seriously zerg is so imba... I should play Protoss.
As a Terran player in the Diamond-ish range as well... this was hilarious.
Upgrades are important, after all. They make your units more cost-efficient if you get ahead on them.
...Clearly, we need a nerf to Hatcheries. If, say, Zerg were disallowed to build more Hatcheries than we Terrans had CCs, I think that would be good. Right...?
The real reason Protoss is OP: chronoboost allows us to beat you on upgrades every game. 1 gate into double forge and a macro nexus. Turtle with cannons while chronoboosting out upgrades-> easy win gg.
Man, I played a guy a lot like him. He went nothing but marines and I held him off with ling/bling while teching to mutas (for the tech switch that never happened) and expanding to 4 bases.
Then I just ran into his natural with a bunch of lings and blings and wiped him out. The fun thing is that he left by saying "Nice allin".
some people in ladder get so mad over stupid games i love it. people just cant take a loss, you think theyd get used to it since the way bnet is designed we loose half our games.
I like that the guy is so deluded that he thinks you SHOULDN'T be able to just A-move when you're that far ahead. That's the entire point of a macro based game. If the opponent is way worse at macroing and don't understand timings then you get an army that you can win with even if you lose both your eyes and ears.
xD oh my goodness. That was great. Wonderfully formatted post, and excellently told. His reasoning… I just don't understand how he came up with that… Well, hopefully he'll watch the replay and think through the game a bit ;D

Awesome blog post 5/5 easily Reminds me of a game I just played beating a silver Terran (I'm diamond) as Zerg and him constantly spamming Zerg op and me getting lucky when Im on 6 base vs him on 1 base the whole game expanding once his main got mined out.
Tbh, I've seen 2...3? high level ladder games where mass marine actually worked, but those terrans put tons of pressure/focus fire blings/didn't let the zerg tech, and by tech I mean not even bling speed.
