Yay my first blog! About time i think, considering how much i read the blog section on TL. Anyway onto the topic at hand, my lucid dream.
I think i'll start before i achieved lucidity. My dream was all over the place, as they usually are. I was at university hitting on random girls (ehehehe). I think i got rejected by one, it appeared like she was about to teach a class but i felt like a badass and just went up to her and hit on her. Another one looked like my old tutor (who was quite cute). She gave me her number  Can't exactly remember the scene...
Then suddenly i skip to somewhere with a table a bottle and bottle cap. This is where i realised i was in a dream. For some reason i was talking to someone, and i wanted to bottle cap to come to me, so i tried some telekinesis thing and it somehow worked. Then i figured out i was dreaming. I quickly ran outside (i think i was in my garage, the street looked like mine) and then tried to fly, to no avail. I don't remember if i fell down flat but i think that's where my dream ended to the sound of my alarm ringing.
Other things i picked up during the dream, the colours when i hit lucidity suddenly turned vibrant, whereas normally its dull/vivid colours, the sky was just as it is in reality, a nice sky blue. I think i was even thinking to myself as i was dreaming how real it felt, even though it was a dream.
I am sorta proud to have achieved it, wasn't even trying to so its nice. Too bad i couldn't fly

I had one too this night. It was a short one because one of my dream characters interrupted me when I was busy stabilizing it.
The method I used was a mixture of DEILD-VILD-SAT.

Man that's pretty cool. I want to lucid dream but have no idea how.

I had a few before, sometimes I would just wake up because I suddenly notice/release I am dreaming.
But if the dream is good, sometimes I can force continue the dream.
There was one funny one where some unbelievably bad logic that occurred in my dream and f-ed up the whole dream and I was like "oh man, I know I am dreaming now" then I forced it to continue by telling myself that "who cares about that bad logic, just a dream"

i do that too, but Im usually very late for work. awesome feeling knowing you're dreaming and being semi awake during the whole thing. i can never remember every detail later though!

Waiiiiiiiit, I thought a lucid dream is a dream where you can control anything? Like someone wrote about creating an audience for you to practice public speaking?
This level of control just sounds like my typical dream............ where scenes just skip around.
Am I missing something?

Lucid dreaming is where you realise you're dreaming and thus move around in it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucid_dream
Only the good lucid dreamers can create and manipulate their own dreams. Nowhere near that level, nor can i really be bothered. Would be a neat trick to learn though.

I remember about 10 years ago, just as I finished elementary school, I had a dream that me and my best friend were walking to the school and having one of our usual debates about something.
Then at some point, I realize it's a dream. He tells me "stop being a fool, how could this be a dream?". Then I think for a second and tell him "DUDE, we finished elementary school, why the fuck are we still going to this schools?!" .. Then I remember feeling sorry for him in my dream, because I just proved to him that he isn't even real... weird stuff
I also remember being so proud that I was able to PROVE I was dreaming.

My dreams are sometimes way too real. I just think it's really happening and then i wake up. It's some crazy shit.

DEILD: Dream-exit induced lucid dream. Pretty easy and effective.
VILD: Visually incubated lucid dream. A bit more advanced, to supplement DEILD.
SAT: The basic technique everyone who wants to do lucid dreaming has to use.
And dream control isn't hard, what's more important is stabilizing the dream and increasing the dream realism.
