So I know how to build computers, but I always have a hard time picking out what to buy...I never know whats right for me. I've been waiting since October for income tax to buy a new computer. I couldn't find anyone willing to help me, and I was seriously about to just take the chance and order things that I thought were good lol. Not wanting to waste 700.00 I went into channel "teamliquid" on battle net asking for help, and a gentleman by the tag of "BowlOfRice" took 1-2 hours of time with me showing me what I should get. Apparently everything I originally planned to get was not the right stuff, and cost the same. I knew it was a big risk listening to a stranger on how to spend 700.00, but he did me well. I set up my new computer last night, and it runs AMAZING. I just wanted to say thank you bowlofrice. This is why the Starcraft community is the BEST community in the world. Where some might not have the best expertise others help you out. Anytime I have ever needed help someone in the TL community has always been able to help me. Thats why I rep our community so hard in rap

Yep. Me too.

I'm even in the IT industry, but hadn't bought one in a while. A few people in the pc build thread helped me and then I went and researched a little based on their suggestions. I changed maybe 1 item. They got me a great deal and it all fit together perfectly. This machine is a CHAMP.
