EPTI'm a Masters Terran, Diamond Zerg/Protoss. Also a top super smash brothers brawl player with experience in Street Fighter as well.
For those who didn't read or want a tl;dr i was in the hospital in and out since November until January for a appendicitis that burst. The burst in November caused me to go back to the hospital in early December because the bacteria and goop from the burst came back and infected/attacked my liver (Prerttttyy serious).
so i've been out for a little bit heres whats going on so far.
-Since i spent most of my money on moving to NYC and this unexpectedly happenend and it consumed me with bills... i ran out of money
-I got out of the hospital but i had to have IV antibiotics inserted at me at home with a home nurse which still cost roughly 245 dollars a week for just the supplies. (I was supposed to be taking this from early Jan to LATE feb. 245 x 8 = LOTZ O MONEY)
-Grandmother whos letting me stay at the apartment has really insanely bad back problems which causes her not to walk which means i have to take care of her (one of the reasons why i moved back in the first place to go to college and take care of her).
-Due to blood loss during all my surgeries and drains and blood being taken i have anemia (basically 50% of my strength, stamina, hp.. think rpgs people)
-Laptop is breaking #firstworldproblems

So basically since then i've been taking my antibiotics and luckliy (litterally lady luck is on my side) right when i ran out of money like 3 weeks in a cat-scan report came in saying my fatal infection on my liver is basically 100% gone in a speedy recover. So from there i still have anemia but can perform all basic life activities again. So thats when i applied for public assistance and food stamps because i have no money (lolz).
I'm taking my grandmother to all appointments atm and i'm applying to be her primary caregiver right now because after the surgery shes going to be down and out for a while. Shes really going through everything well especially with her constant pain so i'm glad. She even stopped smoking (something i'd thought i never see her do). Hopfully after he major surgery this wednesday she will start feeling better
My girlfriend is applying for jobs atm but still hasn't had much success even with her pretty good resume however shes learning city life pretty good atm.
Rent or anything like that isn't really an issue we live in public housing in manhattan so rent is litterally like 250 a month. As far as internet, cable, phone thats like also around the same price and when i start getting money soon i want to upgrade the crappy internet to start streaming
also my girlfriend loves to stream as well (she speedruns super mario 64).Looking to start going to college soon when i get accepted for public assistance. Most likely going to aim for being a nurse or something (not too sure yet).
My friend is donating a gaming computer so i can finally play above 10-15 fps and now going to be playing at 60 fps even late game
. I am VERY grateful for this and i coouldn't be happier.From the Super Smash Brothers Brawl community i have gotten like 500 dollars in donations just for me being in the hospital. Really great people out there to help me out
i appreciate all of them and you guys .I went from bronze to Diamond as zerg in 5 days on a alt account. I also rehit masters as Terran on my main account and i'm very happy about it
. So yeah
Moral of the story: Keep your chin up and work hard people. Nothing comes free =/ learned that the hard way.
