If you think you see a flaw in the proof, please point it out and we can discuss it together. The mathematics are pretty involved, so it is important we make the proof transparent for as many as possible to spot subtle flaws.

I think there's a flaw in your math. Let's take the worst case scenario: you want to make eight zerglings to combat two zealots:

Zerg: 0sz9s*click*z is 7 clicks;
Protoss: 0z9z is 4

So your 2x factor may not be entirely applicable to all scenarios, and you may have to look at the overall formula based on the variations. Terran is even closer to Zerg here, too.

So you agree that the proof is solid, good. We agree on the scientific merit of Rinny's proof. Indeed little to discuss.

But then I may not understand why you find it stupid. Surely you recognize that zerg being 32 times harder than the other two races is an important result. Imagine what this would imply for coming expansion to the Starcraft 2 series!

I can see how the start of the proof can seem a bit random, but in the end the pieces fit together beautifully. Truly an amazing proof, and if I may say so about hard science like this, a piece of Art. Maybe you did not grasp the last step? That would explain your sceptic standpoint. Try to read up a bit more on this link, and dont feel ashamed to ask questions if you don't understand.
