like this? washington is enough to the north to still get these events very rarely from what i see on wikipedia on a quick glance. my sky is always lit up because i have a big store quite close whose parking space is lit up by taking big lights, turning them straight up towards the sky, and then putting mirrory things above them to reflect the light back down and spread it out. Obviously that's stupid, because half the light misses the mirrors and just lights up the sky. lol. It's like northern lights, just in the south and basically all the time except for when there's clear sky.

But I really doubt that caused any power outage, just freaked out people with weird ufo like lights.

Or alien ship crash landing/government-alien-hybrid ship crash landing/something about the Illuminati involving chem trails.. Personally I'm hoping for the latter.

Links to the news station, or some more info on this work as well ![]() Yeah I've googled around a bit, I can't find any reference to this anywhere. Of course the government may have already covered it up.... O.O

Our recommendation is that you stay inside tonight for your own safety, and be sure to report any suspicious activity you may hear or see. Thank you for your time.

There was about 1-2 minutes between the first two flashes, then the third flash, approximately 3 minutes later started white and then turned blue. I watched the news and searched for an answer online and the only thing I came up with is this message board. Is a transformer blowing big enough to light up the entire sky? It was raining and there were low lying clouds, maybe they reflected the light so it appeared bigger? So wait, you just created an account on a StarCraft community site so you could post here about this? Um, okay. I'm no electrical engineer, but I'm willing to bet that if a substation explodes it makes a big damn flash. Or if high tension power cables are damaged and arc, I bet that would be pretty damn bright too. Based on the anecdotal evidence of the original poster concerning news stories about people without power, these seem like two reasonable explanations to me. If that is insufficient, I say call into Coast to Coast AM about it. The conspiracy nerds listening will be far more interested. edit: + Show Spoiler + Unless you're from the CIA testing to see whether a coverup needs to be initiated.... >.>
