So I've finally stepped out my 3 rax opening comfort zone and tried out a reactor hellion FE.
After which I pushed forward a bit and slightly contained the zerg for a bit. After that... Well things went awry. Is it my macro that is slipping? Producing off 1 factory, 3 rax and a starport doesn't seem to be optimal... I built in 3 rax in the middle of the map a tad too late, hoping to catch up with the minerals. It's been floating at 3k for quite a while.
Besides the problem (huge problem) with my macro, any other pointers to take note of in my TvZ game plan? I tried to achieve thors, marines and tanks before I push out, but it all seems thwarted when the zerg comes with a flock of mutas into my base. :\
Hard to anticipate when the mutas fly in.
I'm in Silver btw, SEA server.
Thanks!

Another game which I just played, still not getting TvZ right... This game was all roaches and hydras, but I still lost out, was it in terms of macro? How should I place my army when I expand? That is of concern to me... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ok so i watched you replay, and yeah you macro definitely could use some work xD, besides that if you are going to go marine tank like that you have to have really good micro! also NEVER EVER unsiege all your tanks like that. when you make a slow tank push like that bring some scvs and set up turrets and bunkers and stuff and play superr patient. you should definitely try to expand when you push out rather than once your attack gets killed :D/ also if you have trouble with mutas the general timing is super fast mutas will come as early as 9:00 but generally they will be out around 10:00. have you tried mech at all ?? i just started doing it and my TvZ is going really well (masters terran) check out Puma vs Losira on dual sight and MVP vs Losira on Metaloplis from MLG for good ideas

Thanks a lot! I'll work on those areas ^^

On 2 base you can support much more than 3/1/1
Depending on how tank heavy you like to be, you can go up to 2 factory (with tanks), maybe 10 marines at a time, etc.
Just make sure you keep up with your infrastructure while attacking
