EPTWell here it is, my first attempt at English --> Korean translation. It's not pretty, but I hope it's still readable. This is a short article about election day in NZ.

Leaders of both major parties have cast their votes this morning.
National leader John Key cast his vote at Parnell School and will spend the rest of the day with staff before cleaning the bathroom.
Mr Key walked from his Parnell home to the booths with his wife Bronagh this morning.
Mr Key said he headed into polling day feeling a mix of nerves and anticipation, but "refreshed" after a quiet night at home last night.
This afternoon he will spend some time with his electorate staff in Helensville and then do chores his wife Bronagh has given him, including cleaning his ensuite bathroom.
Mrs Key said the last five weeks had been busy for everyone. While she was looking forward to seeing more of her husband, "I do like to be in charge of the remote control."
He will spend tonight at home with his office staff and family, including his two sisters who travelled from the United Kingdom and Christchurch. He will head into National's main event in Auckland later in the evening.
Labour Party leader Phil Goff has cast his vote at a school in his Mt Roskill electorate just after the polls opened at 9am.
Goff joked with waiting media that they could not ask him anything as he entered Wesley Intermediate.
"This is perfect," he said, before stopping as he realised he had left wife Mary in his wake.
After voting, Goff was greeted by wellwishers and given an "I've voted" sticker by a young girl.

오늘 아침 양당의 지도자가 각각 투표를 했다.
공화당 지도자인 존.키가 파넬학교에서 투표했으며 오늘 하루는 정당 직원들과 함께 보내고 집의 화장실을 청소할 예정이다.
키는 오늘 아침 부인인 브로나와 자신의 파넬에 있는 집에서 투표소까지 걸었다.
키는 투표날에 들어와 집에서 편한 밤을 보낸 후에 기분이 긴장하고 기대감이 있다면서 상쾌한다고 했다.
키는 오늘 오후 헬렌스빌에서 유권자 직원들과 시간을 좀 보내고 집에서 딸려 있는 화장실 청소를 비롯해서 브로나가 시킨 집안일을 할 예정이다.
키 부인은 지난 5주일이 모두에게 바쁜 사긴이었다고 했다. 이제부터 남편을 더 많이 볼 수 있기에 기뻐하다며 “근데 리모컨을 담당하는 것을 좋아해요”라고 했다.
키는 오늘 저녁을 영국과 크라이스트처츠에서 각각 온 언니 두 명을 비롯해서 가족과 사무실 직원들이랑 집에서 보낼 예정이다. 저녁 늦게는 공화당의 오클랜드 본행사로 갈 것이다.
민주당 지도자인 필.고프는 투표소가 열린 잠시 후 9시쯤 자신의 마운트로스클 유권자의 모 학교에서 투뵤했다.
왜슬리중학교로 들어가면서 아무것도 물오보면 안된다고 기다려던 기자들과 농담했다.
“이거 완벽해”라고 하다가 부인인 메리를 내버려둔 것을 알게 돼서 가름이 멈추었다.
투표한 다음에 지지자들이 고프에게 인사하고 소녀가 그에게 “제가 투표했다”란 스티커를 주었다.
Questions
1) I changed the last sentence from passive to active voice because I think it's more natural in Korean, but I dunno if this is generally good practice or not
2) I added a few words in to improve clarity, like 정당 (직원들) and 집에서 because I think the original text is kind of unclear on these points.
3) I'd like to ask for some clarification about how to do quotes in formal articles like this. I just chose to do "literal quote" + 라고 했다, but I'm not sure if I should put the quote in -요 form or -다 form. Any advice appreciated.
