After following the example of "Through the rose-tinted spectacles", I decided to write my own for Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.
The thing was just as long, if not, longer then that one. It took about 1 hr, 30 minutes of research time, finding images, writing the right content...
I'm ready. I finished.
I click the "Preview" button.

My mind: Wtf? I already signed in, that's how I can post in my blog..
Site redirects to Teamliquid homepage. I blink.
Wtf happened to my blog? It's suppose to be previewing....
I click the back button. Something about "Resending the information"....which redirects me back to Teamliquid.net.
My blog. Gone. I gave up my Starcraft practice time to write it. I gave up my Android-app developing with my friend for this. Heck, I stopped talking to my long lost friend to write this.
It's gone, because for some reason, Teamliquid logged me off.

Yeah, I'm sure most of you guys don't really care, but that time meant a lot to me ._.
Honestly, it's my fault for not making a backup, but there's just something in you that wants to blame Teamliquid for logging you off (even though you kept the cookies, even though your internet's fine, even though it says you're logged in..)
Instead of that well-written blog with images, jokes, catchphrases and wonders, I'm afraid I posted this piece of crap blog instead.

That sucks I'm so sorry. I'd be devestated if I lost one of my guides while writing as I tend to write them in one sitting. I've been copy-pasting my partial guides into a wordpad doc just to be safe and I recommend that, though that is neither here nor there since what is done is done.
images, jokes, catchphrases and wonders are overrated anyway

It sucks but I can't sit idly by while you offend the honour of Team Liquid ! I've been logged in for like two years now and it never logged me off. I write everything in Google Docs (which autosaves like every 2 seconds) anyway, and you should too!
Also, some incarnation of this exact thread seems to pop up every week or so. You'd think people would start to catch on. Who knows how many masterpieces we've missed out on? !

Yeah, I'm sorry, Teamliquid  Forgive me, but I was pretty mad.
Yeah, I'm gonna start writing my work on other word-processing things, but last time I wrote a blog like this it was perfectly fine :/

Aw, shame :/
I always ctrl+a ctrl+c before I get ready to refresh, post or preview because I have had that happen to me way too many times. Its very demotivating to write it all again. Seriously, I once spent two hours gathering research information for my thesis and was packing up ready to go home and finish writing it, and as my mouse was moving to the top of the screen to click 'save as' (WHY didn't I use hotkeys?!?!) the power tripped. Yes, it happened exactly like that.
But I hope you manage to rewrite it again without too much hassle.

What's your browser ? With Opera I still get the content of my post when I click on "back".
I made two huge ass blogs last year and always used a text editor to type them. It's just way more convenient than the small text area you have to type blogs on TL.

oh god I hate it when that happens. I always do a ctrl+a ctrl+c before changing page if I think it might time out due to this happening to me before.
On a side note, SA2:B was sweet, apart from those damned knuckles missions. Although I remember much of the time I spent on it was gathering Unicorns to feed my chao named after a late cat.

Ouch, but yeah, writing it out on something else and saving somewhat consistently will prevent that from happening again :/
