Hello!!
Just so you don't get me wrong, I myself are from Denmark.
Okay, I don't really know if this is my school or what, but. We are about 15 years old most of us and it just seems like in the last 6 months people are going fucking crazy about sending fucking hearts on facebook and holding hands and what not everywhere. It doesn't matter if the person likes him/her or whatever, it's just like: "Hey, fuck it, might as well send 1000 hearts".
I. Just. Don't. Get. It.
I will take an example, this one is about a guy being best friend with a girl - and vice versa. We are a bunch at my school that sit at the same table for lunch everyday, and Guy A and Girl B both sit there and are best friends. And whenever I see them chat on facebook and I see him texting her there are fucking a million HEARTS....WHAT. THE. FUCK?!?!?!?!? They are goddamn FRIENDS, am I the only one who finds this really inappropriate? Why the hell would you want to do that? She's your friend dude! Not your fucking gf.
Also, when I glance over facebook and stuff, I constantly see hearts (as you might have figured, I have started to hate hearts), and the funny thing is that it is always these small flirting messages all the time, and I don't give a shit if they flirt, but why the fuck do I have to watch it all the time? And because I know the procedure now, I can tell that in a couple of weeks - 1 month, I wont be seing these messages anymore, because they have forgot all about eachother. But surely enough, another guy and girl start doing the same shit.....
Conclusion - Well, I don't really have any coclusion. But I think It is really really inapropriate that best friends (guy-girl) send hearts and what not over text or facebook. And also I think it is really dumb to look at all these cheesy flirty messages people send to each other over facebook, cmon guys, pm instead of that shit please.....
That was what I had to rant about for today. Feel free to discuss

I agree in a way, Bf/Gf or etc; I have no problem with hearts on the end if you don't over do it... (considering this is like a FB status not a message) Teenagers are weird now a-days they think they know what love is, I mean I've seen my cousin that is 13 say she loves a boy after 1 day. I'm like shut the fuck up. I feel personal conversations should be in a message not a status or whatever have you, I feel its a cry for attention to have a conversation thats rather personal over facebook just as I hate seeing stats that say "OMFG y WULD u Du dis 2 Meh? U no who u r" I can't stand that shit(Spelled right or not) If they know who they are then why the fuck should everyone else know? Facebook is a attention whore site that is why I don't use it.
But whats wrong with holding hands? But I ignore hearts they aren't that bad for me after all, a annoyance yes, but what I CANNOT FUCKING STAND is message that end like this. "Hey whats upppppppppppppppppp???????" That is my rage about Teenagers.
I also agree about the <3s to friends, If you have a significant other. I've seen people with a Bf/Gf and send <3s and I love yous to tons of other people of the opposite sex including exs. But they all say "It doesn't mean nothin'" it annoys me because I feel you should only be sending the hearts to your current Bf/Gf. Not friends not exs not anyone.
But really just ignore it as there is nothing you can do about it.<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3

The stupid and inappropriate FB stuff never ends.

I think you need to calm down and chill out. Don't let insignificant shit get under your skin.

Sorry, forgot to mention. The holding hands part is this girl from school that "likes" a new guy every week and sends these annoying messages, with the hearts and stuff, to them with loads of hearts and they hold hands in school. And then at the end of the week it is like: "Whooops, your 7 days have expired. Cya"......

some one must not feel loved

Congratulations you are in a large group of people in puberty, shit gets weird son ^^

Ah I see! That is exactly how my cousin is. But that is Teenagers for you just looking to find the next person to Hug/Kiss/Hold Hands with, They feel special if they have someone to do this with even if its a new person every week. I personally don't understand why. Really in Highschool no one bases dating off of who someone is, Its really like this. "Dude whats her name?" "uhh so and so" "Mmh shes hot I'ma ask her out!" and that is how most people get together in highschool. Two Complete strangers and end up kissing/holding hands within one day, They are either just in the stage of messing around or feel the need to have someone constantly.

And what exactly is wrong with that, anyway? As long as they understand that they don't know what love is yet.

I think about 75% of people never leave this stage for their life.

I thought this was going to be a giant rant about back-stabbing, friend-stealing melo-drama that was going to keep me at the edge of my seat, waiting for what happens next with a face going from ._. to o.o to O.O while you get $.$ (assuming $ = internet points). Turns out it's a plea to save the integrity and the sanctity of the <3
I am interested. I am intrigued. If we just let anybody give a "<3" to anybody else, we lose what it means to send a "<3" right? I think that "<3" s should only be allowed between a boyfriend and a girlfriend, a man and a wife, etc etc.
In reality, I don't think it's all that big a deal personally. I get what you're saying, it's super annoying, but my best advice is to just not let it bug you

This is just teenagers in general. Teenagers in general have constant shallow and short relationships, overuse and abuse social media, dress (and occasionally act) like whores and make other stupid life decisions.

you want that girl and the hearts make you mad.

Aw, man, I think you need to have a heart. People are young and in love and their hearts are tender. It's understandable that sparks may fly and someone could get heartbroken, but don't lose heart-- this is surely just a phase.

Just need to filter them out broski. If you can't, well...good luck eating lunch at any given public place with more than 5 people when you grow up. Ever.

It seems like a very typically girly thing to me to share heart emotes as a platonic gesture. Does it not also happen in friendships between two girls?

Is this girl your girlfriend ? If not who cares? Maybe they are best friends, maybe they secretly like each other, what business of yours is it how they feel or express those feelings towards each other. Facebook does allow you the option to block it, if it bothers you that much. Their relationship, between him and her, you are no part of it and sure as hell shouldn't be telling them how to act.

I sent <3s all the time on facebook, what's the big deal?
It's not, imo, an expression of attraction or an insinuation. It's just a happy, feel-good message to send and receive. That being said, lots of people think i'm weird. Everybody just needs to chill out and spread the love.

Play League.
You'll be going to tournaments in far-away lands and score with groupies. You'll be king of your High School, being the only one banking $$ (winnings and stream revenue on Own3d).
The heart-senders have pulled a pink drape over their eyes that obscures the fact that the world is ripe for the taking. Bite into it. Devour it. Then we'll see who's getting hearts on Facebook.

The flagrance ends when a few people your age realize that Plan A = them working 9 to 5s for the next 50 years of their lives, if they live that long. Then people start to develop what are known as personalities. The majority of these resulting personalities are subdued and repressed due to the subconscious knowledge that they are slaves of the exorbitantly wealthy. This is a good thing for your current sanity, though once you get into your 20s you start to hope for a slightly more mature version of what your present situation is. You also hope for financial freedom, but that's a topic for a different day.
The immature side of things doesn't ever really go away, though. There are jerks of every age, and there is much indirect and subtle bullying of people by all ages. It's mostly due to the slavery aspect of modern culture, but once you recognize this it can be difficult to accept.
Welcome to Earth. hEart.

I don't really get it. I occasionally attach a heart to a message as a joke, but never in a playful "ILUVU" kind of way. Considering I'm the first generation on Facebook, when it was basically a text-heavy myspace open only to university students, this seems pretty gay.
I'm only really good friends with girls I don't want to sleep with or can't sleep with (i.e. friend's girlfriends). I basically would rather ignore or want to have sex with all the rest. You can bet your ass that when I do like a girl I don't send her a fucking "<3;" I send her a text saying we should go out for coffee or some shit.
But I think the real thing to remember is that Facebook isn't that important in our lives and HIGH SCHOOL is very unimportant. What I mean by that is the school portion matters but everything else is frivolous garbage. Half of those heart-sending losers will drop off the face of the Earth (at least as far as you're concerned) as soon as high school is over. Pay it no mind and continue to be a man.

You would hate me. I send hearts to all my really close friends all the fucking time.
I've just got a lot of love to spread around, but I guess you'd think I'm being promiscuous. T.T

Its ignorant and it annoys the hell out of me to see people "fall in love" within 1 day of knowing each other. The words "I love you" are thrown around so often now-a-days it means nothing.

I'm glad theres someone out there like me. I think its retarded but everyone at school just brands me as a loser b/c I don't follow their dumb trends. Its pretty dumb so I pretty much just ignore everybody at my school and tehy started ignoring me back. Pretty peaceful once you sink below the radar.
