Also there are bigger bands like dream theater that are pretty nice. Maybe also Tool which is an old favorite of mine but not as close. | ||

you might also like Liquid Tension Experiment (no vocals at all) generally, just go to last.fm and put on your favorite band's radio and wait for similar artists to come up. | ||

I'd also recommend Pain of Salvation. They're more melodic and less brutal than most of what's been posted so far, but they're an amazing band. I'll edit in videos later... | ||
