Hey! I made a progressive house thing this weekend, so as always I'm pretty curious what tl thinks. It's sort of old deadmau5 esque progressive house I suppose. I'm not sure whether the different parts fit together that well, but anyways.

and something I did for a remix contest recently if anyone can be bothered to listen ^^

Oh also when school isn't eating up my time I'm doing a remix together with dellesh1ruH on tl, which is turning out pretty cool I think.

mad skills dude. sounds really professional. do you mine if i use the track in a mix in busy with? i think it would make and awesome intro!
only thing that i dont like is that the first break sounds a bit too much like the second. maybe if it was maybe 32 beats shorter than the second break or if the second break was more how do you say ... harder maybe? or if the synth was a bit different maybe?
other than than i loved it! wish i had the time to learn the ios and outs. what program do you use and do you make your own sample or do you use sample packs?

I know what you're saying, I think it might be a bit too slow in the intro and somewhat repetitive.
I use FL studio and a little bit of ableton live, and I use samples from sample packs but not loops and stuff. I generally like to make my synths from scratch in sylenth1 though.

that's pretty cool. I've been trying to learn reason 5 but Im lost with that. hue heard cubase is cool because you can use fruity loops and ableton plug ins with it.
how long you been doing this?
edit : auto correct fail

edit : auto correct fail Hm you should probably just go with whatever you think is most intuitive and feel the most comfortable with. The reason I like FL studio is because it's extremely fast to work with and intuitive, but the plugins that ship with the program aren't that good to be honest. Eventually I think most FL users find themselves using external plugins for almost everything.
Not sure how long I guess pretty sporadically for 2 years or something like that, but I was mostly just messing around during the first year.

Honestly I think it's pretty good, and I usually snap-dismiss music of this genre. I liked 'Beneath' way more than the remix though. Good job.

Great job mate, Beneath is such a great track, really atmospherish!

awesome, another fl studio user. listening now. sounds pretty cool.

Good stuff man, definitely reminded me of Deadmau5 (Arguru, Strobe, etc) which is exactly the kind of progressive house I enjoy. Keep it up.

I usually don't listen to progressive house but i think this is pretty good. First part sounds a bit wierd to me but then it really takes off

Hi friend. Your commitment to music is amazing to me. Any advice on making time? (to commit to making music or even art in general) Great tunes. I especially like September.

Thanks everyone!

I especially like September. Well I grew a bit tired of sc2 so that frees up some time. :D It's just like everything else I guess, if you enjoy doing something you'll find time. It's a lot of fun basically.
