Born on May 15th, 2471 as Syck Jack Shakuras, 6Jax lived his entire life on the Planet Korhal. Although he was born in West Metalopolis, but moved to Comptopolis after dropping out of school in 2487. Shakuras left his home town after his parents were killed in the cross-fire between Dominion Security Officials and two rival gangs. Blinded with fury and a need to blame, he swore vengeance on Mensk and the violent gangs that ripped the city of Metalopolis in half. He found a living in Comptopolis producing his music on a small level, playing at dives, and distributing his VCDs** to locals sympathetic to the young revolutionary's cause. His first album, Zerg Packets, caused minor ripples in the underground music industry, and gave 6Jax a solid foundation upon which to operate his crusade against Mensk.
Despite dropping out of school, 6Jax continued to interest himself in furthering his own education. He read all of the modern and classical literature regarding egalitarianism and freedom, holding a special intellectual preference for Sun Tzu and James Raynor. On the subject of his heroes, Shakuras said, "these are the military minds of a generation. [Sun Tzu] revolutionized fighting, and [James Raynor] is fighting for revolution. Sun Tzu caused rational thought to be applied to the bestial need to fight, and Raynor fights like a beast with a cause: to allow rational thought to be applied and expressed in public." Raynor also was an avid reader of classical literature from the 20th century. His preferences ranged from John Steinbeck to Kurt Vonnecut Jr, and, by the time of his death, he had read the entirety of Ulysses, a feat which no living soul had managed within the span of two decades.
Shakuras formed the group Thor-Life in 2502, a paramilitary anarchist group determined to topple the Mensk regime and the dangerous military experiments therein (Spectre, Thor, etc). By this time, Shakuras had released several more albums, including This is an SCV Release, Sons of the Protoss, Metalocalypse Now, and Strictly for my M.U.L.E.Z.. Thor-Life maintained its status as a legitimate organization through the pseudo-legal profession of music. The most successful accomplishment that Thor-Life, and, by extension, 6Jax, produced in this regard was the album All Nyduz on me. As a military organization, Thor-Life became infamous in Comptopolis as a sort of vigilante force of justice. Members would lurk through the city, intervening swiftly and violently against all forms of repression the group perceived-- acts ranging from Dominion Security brutality to gang violence and even to domestic abuse.
In 2502, shortly after forming Thor-Life, Shakuras formed an underground record-company with various colleagues of his. The group was called Outlaw Immortalz-- Legalize Goonz, but was commonly referred to by OIL-G. Shakuras formed this record company a few months after Thor-Life began to pick up followers, both musically and as a vigilante group. It has often been suggested, though never proven, that OIL-G was the financial arm of Thor-Life in its military aspect.
In mid-December, 2502, Shakuras organized through Thor-Life an operation to assist James Raynor in his attempts to broadcast over inter-planetary radio proof of Mensk's treachery to Terran-kind. 6Jax subsidized troops and resources for Raynor's operations, as well as going into the fray himself, as he so often did. Shakuras played an integral role in the seizure and operation of the radio towers. Using his extensive background in underground music, Shakuras hacked each of the radio-towers networks while Raynor's forces defended him, taking down the tower's electronic defenses and uploading the radio data onto the network. Thanks to Raynor's and Shakuras' cooperation and effort, the whole sector heard Mensk say that he would rather Terran-kind be destroyed than give up his power, leading the sector to perceive Mensk as a despot, and facilitating mass riots and revolutions across the sector.
On December 21st, 2502, Raynor ceremonially presented Shakuras with the key to the Radio Operations Center, entrusting him to bring fair and balanced news and discussion to the sector as well as the enlightening and unique entertainment that Shakuras (and musicians like him) brought. Shakuras never got the chance to live up to the task set to him by Raynor. The next day, before entering the Operations Center, Shakuras was shot eleven times by a radical Mensk supporter. After being rushed to the hospital, 6Jax received brain- and heart-surgery, but eventually died due to complications arising from blood clots.***
6Jax Shakuras left a legacy within the inter-planetary Terran community as a martyr for freedom of speech and freedom from oppression. His vigilante methods of meting justice are still controversial to this day. Shakuras used violence in order to end violence, and it is argued that the ends did not justify the means. In his music, 6Jax advocated an end to slavery and a new beginning of freedoms that Terrans had not enjoyed since before The Confederacy. Shakuras never spoke out much about the possibility of Terran cohabitation with Protoss. On the subject, he said that things like that "should be left up to people who have actually interacted with Protoss." He was almost certainly referring to James Raynor, with whom he had many conversations, and whom he certainly counted as a friend and ally. In Korhal, 6Jax is a celebrated artist, and has become an icon and a pilgrim of free speech through artistic means, paving the way for the future generation of artists such as 50-Credit, Ememinem, and Snoop Lyotee to embrace the mission 6Jax Shakuras could not complete.

*The musical evolution of the human race involved a change in the meta-music scene to increasingly hard and technical music, resulting in Music of the Disturbed (Dist), a unique blend of horrific sounds from different horror scenes and a harder, more brutal version of the dirtiest of dub-steps.
