"Forever Dipped in Bronze" is there about striving to get better no matter what. Unfortunately, I dunno if I may end up stuck here. I had made it to 12 in my division. Not great, but upward, from 72. Then, I lost...9...in...a...row. And at least one of those 9 was me getting nailed by a probe rush.
Luckily I'm too hard headed to give up. I broke the streak last night and gave been batting a little over 500 since. Been working in hotkeys and keeping up with macro. I seem to be doing fine, until I cap my supply, somehow once things really start rolling, I always manage to forget that. Chants mantra, "Minerals Low, Make workers, keep up with supply, keep buildings building."

Don't get discouraged! The most important lesson you need to learn is that everybody goes through losing streaks or moments of despair regarding their gameplay. Ignore the negative connotations associated with losing and instead use them to help improve your current gameplay. Load up the replays, and write down 2-3 MAJOR reasons why you lost in each game. There are most certainly more than 2-3, but some are more minor than others. Fixing the major holes you see first will help your gameplay out tremendously.
Many players practice daily, watch VODS, learn build orders etc, but soo many of them refuse to watch / study their own replays, which in my mind is the most important tool you got. You can directly look at the mistakes you made, and the timings your opponent used to win etc. If you dont mind, post a few and i'll gladly look as well.

It happens to all of us. Lately I haven't been able to figure out mech in ZvT to save my life and at best I can hold out until 30-40 minutes where mass ghosts rock everything. But I know in a day or a week or a month I'll figure out what's going wrong and get past it. Then a new challenge will arise!
I wish you luck in getting out of bronze, it'll only be the start of your challenge but it's very rewarding to look back and think "Holy crap I used to die to Gheed! Now I'm not so chobo!"
Good luck and don't let bad streaks get you down. Chin up, minerals down, two dots on your nex/cc and keep your eyes on that minimap!

I found myself improving the most after I focused on just making workers. It's a lot easier for me to justify a loss thinking I didn't have enough units as opposed to having less workers then my opponent. It's definitely s struggle, but keep chugging along and you'll break through in no time.
Although I don't play much anymore, I started as a lowly bronze and I've worked my way up to plat, just keep at it

kool since we're sharing stories of perserverance, as zerg I often have a huge lead in every aspect of the game - economy, macro, bases, army - but i will fight out of position, or simply die to one large (sometimes arbitrary) attack. It takes time for a useful idea to pop into your head which can actually influence your play. the idea may be as simple as "I need to build a pylon when i expand." or it can be more complicated, like my current challenge in gold ZvZ: "i need to use my faster pool to put pressure on, and if I see him go roach expand AFTER i have big saturation on two base, i need to keep him in the base while I take my third. TAKE MY THIRD EARLIER DAMMIT" (that third is extremely important in ZvZ!!) lol it can get complicated. but it's getting more fun when there are more things to think about gl hfhfhf!
