Hello, SC2 is the first RTS I have ever played multiplayer on, and I am really enjoying it. The one thing I do not like is that I have no friends that play RTS games. I decided to make this blog in the hopes of finding some good people to play with. The one thing I always look back on with nostalgia is the friendships I make in a game. Accomplishments are easily forgotten, but the good times with friends are not.
A little about myself, I am thirty years old and married. I own a small business and I attend college full time. I prefer 1v1’s in SC2, but I am sure team games could be fun with the right crowd. I am in silver league at the moment, and I am working hard to improve. I have been switching between the three races a good bit and I am still trying to figure out which race to focus on.
I was watching Day9 daily #269 and he suggested making a blog post here to try and find some gamers to play with. So I figured I’d put myself out there and see if anyone was interested in making a new SC2 friend. I think I will play more regularly if I have a social connection to this game.
All levels of players are great with me. I prefer to surround myself with well-adjusted, mature, good-natured, well-mannered people. I would also prefer people that enjoy 1v1’s and people that focus on improving their play.

High friend. Best way to socialize in sc2 and keep interested is by being a regular on a public/clan channel.
This way you get to know people and play with others on your skill level.

Added you. I started playing a month and a half ago and I'm Platinum. Even tho I'm doing really good in Platinum I'm really bad so I might not be far from your skill level. (I'll help if I can too  ) I don't play munch tho, few times at around 7:00 PM during the week and mostly on weekends.

more than as an advertisement of any sort, i think the blogs here are just a display of how some of team liquid's members continue playing the game. out of so many hours that happen during a day, every moment of starcraft is spent with someone on the other side of screen so of course, i think it's totally reasonable to look for people whom you can stand being around, haha.
feel free to add and to msg at me!, i'm 'silhouette' 594 and i am about as good in 1v1 as the average plat. player, although i have been playing team-games to the point that i've masters as random in 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4 in just about every season.
if you're open to it, i am actually looking to learn my own way of conventional 1v1 play starting from any level really and i'd love to help give you practice too if possible :D.
not all of that may have made sense, but i like any sort of mental commitment to the game, and as i like to use the game to help me learn to focus and become responsible in certain ways, i really respect it when i see that others have some sort of similar outlook on the game
