When someone gets wellknown/famous whatever you want to call it, there is always going to be those who disagree with that person, or dislike the way that person does what he does etc. Simply put if you get well known there is always going to be haters/dislikers. This is something that many internet wellknowns have been exposed to and if you are not used to that it can be quite hurtful (basically, if you are an allpleaser irl, I've been one until a teacher started to irrationally hate me). But I think that if you want to stay in a community where you are wellknown, you have to be able to handle such criticism, be it constructive or just hatred. The way to do so is to realise that as long as you aren't a douche, the wast majority will like you, and there is only a vocal few that wont, and you should not let them stop you from doing what you like, and what a lot of other people obviously enjoy. I'd also like to point out that the reason for generelization in the above paragraph was because you're not the first one Milkis, I remember a similar posts from Totalbiscuit, until he realised that haters gonna hate, and similar posts from quite a few other people who've not been prepared for those few vocal haters that will expose themselves sooner or later. I hope this was understandable, I've had a 8 hour test today (basically a test that exists in Sweden that you can use to apply to higher education), and I only slept 4 hours before because of nervousness. | ||

I'll be honest. I never expected people to agree with my opinion on what makes something an eSport or not. I've been quite honest about how my opinion is elitist, and I fully expected disagreement over the definition. You're opinion isn't elitist, it's retarded. Just because tennis is huge doesn't mean badminton isn't a sport. Arguing about what makes an 'e-sport' is a hilarious waste of time. Almost as much of a waste of time as arguing about 'what makes someone a pro-gamer.' | ||
