if you ever even think about coming back, please do, the majority of us like what you've done for SC2 and a lot of great moments would not have happened without you. just remember, the personal criticisms that resulted as a backlash from that postwere because of the controversy of the post itself. you should have probably thought of what would've happened as a result of that seeing how you are in the public eye. | ||

Dear Milkis: I really enjoyed every time I ever saw something from you. Your tumblr was amazing and before that you where the only person that I ever followed other then the gsl finals # tagging when they told me to. Theres a lot of eSports that won't be ruined if you go away. Please keep translating for your tumblr and keeping us updated on events. Seriously, how could you not expect exactly the response you got to that piece? Not to excuse the horrible behavior of internet trolls, but anonymous crowd behavior online is a known quantity, there's no way you should have reasonably been surprised that haters hated. I'm sorry you feel the need to abandon the community because it contains a rude minority that won't let you spout off on how only your eSport is a real eSport without getting your feelings hurt. Look at John the Translator, he got so much shit for translating at the GSL finals, do you see him writing up a blog and hating life saying his going to quit? Like I said, I'm sure many people are thankful for what you've given to this community. If you want to disappear on us, and go elsewhere that's fine on your own accord, then that's fine. To Milkis: I'm not going to dignify the attention-whoring from anyone any further than this, except do remember that if the fan support for your work, and NOT your personality is what will drive you to go back and continue what you've been able to do, you have to learn that what should drive you to do your work is not some self-validation that you're worth something to a bunch of people. You've earned a shitload of respect from people for being at least halfway competent at what you've done but I really hope that you learn that what should really drive you in continuing to do this (or whatever you choose to pursue if you stop doing this) is already inside you. Whatever people say, know that you have an opinion, and that they have an opinion as well, and that there are people who you will not see eye to eye with. Some others will rationally/irrationally hate you as well, and you may be able to change yourself for the better with this incident. Listen to the people who've been there and done that. TL;DR Stop getting validation from others for what you do and you'll instantly feel better, especially when you hit the public eye. Also, stop arguing about "What is eSport?", it's troll-bait right there. Also finally, as another poster said: + Show Spoiler + u gotta skate see you on Monday | ||
