Once the world's average internet speed reaches 100mbps up and down, and the providers actually provide at least 80% of the promissed, onlive will be a great service.
oh man this is finally out huh? well im not really too interested in it. i got a beast computer, and i enjoy pirating my games but to be able to play on tablets? hmm thats interesting..
You can play this on college computers, it's amazing how well single player games run. Multiplayer games are not what it's supposed to be used for but are alright.
I've actually been using it for a while now. It works pretty well as long as you have a good, stable internet connection. If you're having any problems you'll get random lag spikes and such.
Also is better for some games than others. I couldn't imagine playing an FPS on it, because there is a slight latency increase. Sports games are perfect though.
And very limited game selection. Though the free demo system is great.

No it's not... It's the present and it's a mediocre technology. >.<
I will always prefer to have my own systems, there is just too much trouble with this streaming thing. Also, the paying system is a joke. This way, the only benefit you have is that you don't need a good computer if you just want to play games, but who does that? There is always more stuff you want to do. And you don't even OWN the game, but are only allowed to play it at onlive? Did I get that right?
But yea, for casual gamers that don't need good pc systems and really only want to play video games this is a very good way to play new games, if they still want to spend money for them (which is still quite a lot though)
