School, Grades, and Procrastination
+ Show Spoiler +
School is such a joke. I'm currently getting by with 100's in all my classes, and I don't study for more than 45 minutes each night. /brag (That comment is going to be extremely ironic when I get a B in most of my courses). Of course, I get sucked into various subreddits throughout the night, and oftentimes I spend time that should be used for more constructive activities on random internet people asking Bear Grylls if he drinks his own piss or not. O Procrastination! Why art thou so succulent?
Saving that Dollar
+ Show Spoiler +
Sometimes I ask myself why people would drive an extra 5 minutes to the next gas station that's 5 cents cheaper. Yes, here's a reference for all of those of you who are wondering where I got this topic. I was thinking about this the other day, and just like an Inception-seed, it grew into this idea that I applied to other things. For example, take food shopping. Would you spend an extra dollar for the better brand? Does it really matter if you buy the store brand? I think the answer is that it depends. Honestly, I can't tell the difference in say, the Wal-Mart brand and the brand from Kraft. Maybe that's just because I'm tasteless. Or maybe, there really is no difference.
There is a distinctive difference in some objects, though. I can clearly taste a difference in Wal-Mart cola and the real thing.

Saving that Dollar Part II

LET'S GO DEEPER! (not in an awkward way, though.) This is a topic that I occasionally question. Suppose you saved that one dollar a month because you bought the cheaper brand on say, salt. Great! Over the course of your life, you have saved $1500. I think that is a correct application of "saving the dollar", because, let's be honest, can you really taste the difference between "ultra-refined salt" and ordinary refined salt? Now, suppose you bought the cheaper brand of shampoo that was combined with conditioner and moisturizer, all packaged together and made in China. You would save $2500 throughout your lifetime because you bought that instead of buying them separately. I'm sure people will have mixed views on this one, but I, for one would buy them separately.
Starcraft
+ Show Spoiler +
I suck at starcraft. I can't play much. I don't play many ladder games before I get bored and go to custom games. My macro, micro, or multitasking aren't particularly good. I wonder why I'm even in plat at all. All I can say is hopefully I can still maintain my current skill level and not deteriorate too much before break comes. Maybe my limited practicing works, maybe it doesn't, but who knows? The ladder is constantly changing. /rant
Starcraft Part II

Fellow Brotoss, let us QQ together! Let our disgusting winrate in GSL haunt our dreams. The list of fallen heroes grows daily(literally. go watch GSL). We cry out to Blizzard in hope of buffs and nerfs to Zerg and Terran, and we whine about balance flaws. Personally, I think this is perfectly normal. It took 6(?) years for Brood War to grow into the majestic being it is today, so why don't we give Blizzard some time? I'm sure they'll fix it Soon™. Excuse me while I go cry over MC's losses.
A Conclusion
+ Show Spoiler +
So. As I was writing that, I felt as if I was writing more and more badly. I'm going to post it anyways though, because I feel that nothing should be perfect. Let this be an example of bad writing, if nothing else. Remember to watch your minimap and keep the minerals low!
