EPTDon't know how many of you decided to watch the charlie sheen roast tonight, but it was pretty funny in comparison to the others in recent years. Tyson was actually pretty funny, super fucked up, and took jokes directed at him pretty well. Lots of black jokes directed at Patrice O'Neal, who was pretty much the only black guy they could pick on except Tyson...
Patrice was a good sport though, whether he ditched his actual act to be a bit meaner I'll never really care to know, but it made for some good entertainment. Shatter wasn't half bad, Jeff Ross put up a decent act like he usually does.
Then there was the Grey's Anatomy actress, who didn't do half bad, I suppose she was there as a friend of Charlie, didn't both me. Steve-O was actually mildly funny, but actually a bit too serious. There were two other comedians as well who are apparently a couple. Anthony Jeselnik was ok, but a bit slow at times which was pointed out
Suprisingly, Amy Schumer I thought was the harshest roaster of all. I think she was on a roast or two prior, don't remember any jokes from her like that. Perhaps she was trying to fill the void in the absense of Lisa Lamponelli, but who knows.Seth MacFarlane was a great roastmaster as usual, but I'd really like if they just made him a roaster. Finally, Charlie Sheen. That alone is enough of a sentence to warrant a period. Charlie fired back quite well, and actually seemed to redeem himself a bit in my eyes.
So after all that, I come home from a friends house where we had gathered to watch the roast and caught a bit of the Monday Night Football before it, I come check TL to see...
