So, this is meant for the male portion of TL, but it might pertain to women as well.
It's about scrotums. Seriously. I got a nasty itch there when I was watching Destiny's stream for charity. I don't know what happened. All of a sudden, I had to scratch that little bugger. And I couldn't make the itching stop.
I simply couldn't: it was waaaay too itchy.
And now I'm paying for it. My nutsack blazes with the fury of one thousand burning suns. Does anyone know about anything to make the pain go away? Because I'm sweating and it stings. Like a motherfucker.
A short guide:
If your nutsack itches, don't scratch it. That's a bad idea. You MUST resist, or face the consequences.

you need something to cool it down
try aloe vera
unless you itched it totally raw, in which case applying ointment might make it worse
|
Gold bond body powder...it works wonders. If you have an aloe vera plant try that as well.

I have neither T.T
Does vaseline help? I have plenty of that. + Show Spoiler +Get your mind out of the gutter. You know what you were thinking.

How fucking hard are you scratching your balls here?! I've scratched my balls a thousand times, and while I have had some irritation for a minute afterwards before, never have I had anything so bad I would consider asking for help with it.

Wow, I'd go nuts if I had to endure that kind of pain
|
It's not bleeding, but it's kinda raw. I tried vaseline and that seems to help. I'm more concerned about the pain caused by the rubbing against clothing (I'm going to play a lot of tennis tomorrow).

I see what you did there. The cat's out of the bag.

sounds like the ball is rolling now.
|
You obviously don't know how to scratch your balls. Proper technique is to pinch a fold of the skin and rub it between your fingers.
|
Sounds like you are having a ball of a time.
|
You can scratch it, just don't rub it raw...
Or cut your knives of fingernails...
Put a bottle of water or can of soda in the freezer. Wait 1 hour. Take it out, put it in your pants.

I think it's itching because I was wading in some nasty river water for my science class. It's a rare occurrence.
|
Wouldn't taking a shower be good? I'd imagine your sack is unclean and well clean that shit off lol. I'm not saying you don't shower ~^_^~

I feel like this blog only scratches the surface of the problem.

I'd say you are quite the baller.

Bengay can reduce the pain a decent bit I've heard, you should try it.

Out of the sack

Well, I've taken a shower, and my scrotum will be fine. I think. I'll put some vaseline on it before I play tennis.
Is bengay like tiger balm? Because if so, I don't want it. PROTIP: Tiger Balm feels nice at first, but then... well, you need a fire hydrant. It's not pretty.

Have you had intercourse with any dirty strangers recently?
Or you can tape a pen on yourself + Show Spoiler + the penis to keep you from scratching

Have you tried watching Sheth's stream instead?
|
rub ben gay all over your nuts, it'll help a lot. trust me.
|
I've got an itching feeling you're not telling us the whole story.

I had something like this...lasted around 3 weeks until I finally broke out of the itch-almost-bleed-partiallyhealandgetitchy-scratch cycle, bothered me about 50% on the time and was unbearable (could not concentrate on anything else or do anything productive, if you fight the urge to itch strongly enough you'll sometimes even start twitching a bit) about 25% of the time. Walking furiously is a decent option for fighting the urge to itch. If you are sweating you definitely need to take a shower at some point. When you do...clench all you muscles cause your balls are going to sting like the world. Really it just comes down to not scratching and letting them soft-scab over and heal, that's assuming that you scratched them to that point. The timeframe is about 2-4 days...Do everything in your power to hold out that long. I didn't use any medication or whatnot (if water hurts so badly, water+dried cream/whatever must be even worse). Once your balls are healed, if your still itchy, at least your not itchy AND in pain. While I can't really give you advice, you have my sympathies. Man the jokes in this thread are like Funny Aneurysm Moment. Itchy balls are srs business.

That's a ballsy statement.
Edit: Scratch that, I misunderstood.

If you cut off your fingers you won't be able to scratch them, and you'll forget about the itching.

An uncomfortable, chafing, sweaty metaphor.
