Ah the warm weather here in Montreal at about 18 degrees Celsius (64 degrees Fahrenheit), I bask like a lazed cat by my chair. The chair is older than me, worked harder than I ever could and is showing its age and weakness today than I feel today.

Phenomenal film and a quiet in its own joy, worth and story-telling (outside of its own narration). The story sets the stage for a romantic story, but innocent in its own right movement. No cliches, no rush, just subtle, quiet and nice. Something about the film that just remains sound within me.
I'm sick, tired and my neck creaks with pain and agony. I've never felt so sick in my life and it didn't help that I took a congestion pill that was expired in 2010 (boy did that have my rolling and clenching the toilet all last night). My nose is congested on one side, I gag the little saliva that climbs its way to the tip of my tongue and soils the bottom part of my jaw and like I said before; my neck feels like a cog is slightly out of place, barely working and keep my head of nearly falling off or tipping off this pillar of a neck. It was good timing I got sick now, instead of when Fireblast! was visiting. He's off now to Toronto for his Pearl Jam pitstop! We had a lot of fun ranging from Super Smash Melee duels to cooking and going out to try some of Montreal's best sandwiches around!
Overall, this blog is short. I just wanted to bitch my heart out. The sun is gleaming outside, a cool breeze tickles my worn palms and there are painted streaks of clouds across my window's frame.
Everything quiet, moving forward and I'm huddled in my room, suffocating in my mucus.
There's something about Montreal that just sings whatever tune you feel as you wake up. It rains, it pours, it shines, it turns the other cheek with the dark clouds. But as you walk out your door and at the right moment look you, you can see nothing but Montreal at your doorstep. It's many facets found along the way to your home, veiled with multiculturalism, festivals and an exciting life that holds opportunities in more than one language (two to be exact).
If you could be in one spot in Montreal for a brief moment, I would suggest two spots:
Before your first step...
And after the sun sets...

Luckily I only have a cold, even if it was paired with some nosebleed (stupid nose veins, not withstanding my manly handkerchief-ing)
I'm really interested in that movie, looks like a promising story.

The warm air? I don't even want to know what you call cold. Down here in Texas, we're in the middle of our worst drought since the '50s, and we had plenty of days in July and August that the air conditioning wouldn't turn off for 4-5 hours straight if it was set at 80F or below.
Even when I lived in Colorado, those temps only seemed warm by winter standards.

Jinglehell: I'm indoors with a room that has no circulation and a window about 6 feet high and 5 feet across with the sun in my face. It's pretty warm considering I'm on the 18th flor and no real wind seems to be passing by.
The air is nothing I recognize before, neither the morning dampness of Long Island or the summer dryness from the Jersey beaches. It feels like the river nearby in Montreal and its own air.
Maybe I'm just full of it.

Eh, if the sun is hitting you, I guess it could feel warmer. If it was just air temp, I couldn't call it warm. Pleasant as all hell maybe, with little to no wind and reasonably low humidity, but not warm.
Either way, hope you feel better.

Invest in a netti pot, it can change your life. As an allergy sufferer it helps me such much to get that shit out of there and relieve all the pressure.

i thought expired drugs just werent as effective or didnt do all that they claimed on the bottle anymore which is why they expire, so you buy more. Do they really have alternate effects when they are old?

I have no idea. I haven't vomited in years, I didn't eat anything funny (as far as I know) and although I didn't vomit, it kept peeping near a few times during the night.
I don't allergies muse, will it still work?

Look it up, its basically saline water in a pot. The pot is designed to clear your sinus cavities and your nose. Theres some videos on youtube if you're not grossed out.

I'll start googling it now. I remember I used to boil warm water and breathe the steam. It cleared up sometimes, but came back soon after.

Depends on the meds, but yes, some of them can turn pretty nasty over time. Theoretically at least.

Do you guys have any suggestions for cold coughs? I'm gagging hard with these coughs and its nonstop.
I have no medication unfortunately.

Just a quick update, I'm feeling a lot better today. I had some warm milk with honey, watched some movies and slept on the couch by the open window of the great city of Montreal. It was calming, soothing and I forced myself outside, got some cool fresh air, walked around although I haven't kicked this cold completely, I'm feeling immensely better and my regular self!

Quick tip if still needed for cough: Get some limes/lemon juice in a pot and boil. Add some honey to complete a tea-like drink and chug it (carefully, since it's hot). Or google honey-lemon tea recipe, and some people add in some ginger or sugar but I usually don't. Get better.
