EPTWords aren't enough to describe how happy I'm.
I think we, Europeans, waited for this too long.
Anyway, I have a simple idea to improve patch testing, yet I'm not sure if it's easy to support as well as having to deal with possible lag issues. It's probably not good to push things as EU PTR is still news, but I think EU PTR and NA PTR should be merged.
Pros:
- More motivation to play on PTR server because it has more people than before (thanks to merging)
- Therefore, a greater amount of people testing new patches which results in more games -> more experience -> more feedback -> more quality patches
- More people to meet, more opportunities to have fun and make friends
Cons:
- Blizzard having to maintain such a server *might be* harder than supporting separate PTR servers
- Possible lag issues NA <-> EU (for example, you might be fine on NA if you have an account there, but what about other European countries?)
