Sup guys,
after my failed start a few months ago I decided to restart with Brood War and switch races from Zerg to Protoss being a Master level player in SC2.
After spending a lot of time on fixing BW to not crash my Windows and other stuff I finally managed to log on Fish and host a game with no lag problems.
As I don't have my 30 games yet I just created a melee game and some random korean Protoss joined.
After about 15 minutes I managed to overwhelm his natural with Dragoons and Reavers and I earned my first win :D

I'll try to play my 30 games to get to the ladder and start practicing more. So if anyone would like to play, I'm always up to playing when I'm online on Fish :D My name is PulzTL

Wow this is awesome. Ah the days of Brood War, SC2 has noobified me so I can no longer play BW like I could in the past. Although that being said, I was never overly good at Brood War anyway.

I played maybe 5 games against computers and 4 games against real players. Tbh I was improvising with my build order but good to hear, that it's not that awful :D

I want to play BW but there's no tutorials or any shit on how to set up for the Fish server, so it's too much work :S
Also, mouse sensitivity gets fucked up unless I use ICCup launcher, but ICCup is basically dead lol. I'd definitely be all over this shit if only it had some higher resolutions. I heard once that the way the game's files are structured that if Blizzard wanted to they could actually re-release SC1 with vastly improved graphics and resolution, but since WoW makes them more money they don't.

Unfortunately I'm doing my A-levels in about 6 months and this month will be packed with exams so I'll have to step my play down
Somehow I can't really play when I know that I can't grind out games...
