I know this has a high potential of not working out the way I see it could. First of all it's not about starcraft. I thought about making a starcraft movie in the same way but it would box everything up and suffocate the potential. It might wind up being about starcraft after all anyway. Second, mods might not permit it and declassify it as a forum game. And last but not least people might not get it or like it.
This is an attempt at fictitious movie making, collectively over the internet using nothing but imagination and music. I'm hoping that people pick up the narrative string and contribute with a written dialog, or description of a scene while embedding a youtube video which they feel describes the mood of the picture. Scene by scene I hope a liquid concept of a movie might emerge.
I'll start and hope for others to follow the format I am using which is: Short Title -> youtube video -> Scene.
I am going to select and add serious contributions to this original post in the spoiler thingy below, where it will amount to the up-to-date state of progress. Questions, discussions and other comments are welcome and will not influence the integrity and progress of the raw product, meaning it would probably make sense to agree on certain guidelines like number of characters, genre, x meets y similarities to other movies, title.. and come to a conclusion whether it should be linear or post-modern style. But we can do that as we go along. Also I think it would make sense to have different versions depending on how compatible the scenes are with each other. If there's an abrupt change in pace i can clone the story, sort of like save the progress, and then people can choose which version they want to add to.

Train comes to a stop -> Bell sound -> Final station

I love ideas like this. i always always wanted to do something like this. but i dont have the internet skills to actually do this... i really hope everything comes out how u imagine it.

well yeah but people need to take a few minutes to add content or else it dies fast. That's the tricky part. Other than that there are no strings. The artistic thing about it is the fact that everyone could share anything if they have a strong mood.. they just need to translate it into the story.
I guess it would be a good idea to tickle out some opinions about what it should contain.. and maybe a little later what it should generally be about on the grand scale. So here's a poll to get people lubrified about interacting.

I've got a pretty sweet idea.
I didn't realize it when I wrote this .. but having Bruce Lee, Bud Spencer and Chuck Norris in the same movie would be the shiznit. Particularly in this blog's case.
One reason for this is a context of references to Starcraft that I have just come up with. Check it out.
Let's pretend each of these Fighter Characters' style of combat resembles the style of a race.
If you've seen a Bud Spencer Movie you'll obviously think of Tanks in this regard. A Siege Tank Blast has a lot of resemblance to the infamous Hammerfist.
Bruce Lee's speed and stamina in the movie world is rivaled only by Jacki Chan's.. both great candidates to incorporate the Zerg philosophy of fast paced combat.
Last but not least, the manly Chuck Norris with his Roundhouse Kicks .. Think of Storms all around the Protoss Death-Ball and wood-board breaking Karate fists.
In fact we could make this a BW vs SCII movie. Old Classic Characters/Actors vs new ones like Jason Statham for Protoss (remember Crank 2 High Voltage?). We could have them duke it out with SCII posters disarming the previous BW posters scenario and adding his own reversal and vice-versa.
This could be an epic blog post folks. You just need forum power.
