For the last two years of University, I've worked for my college radio station, WGRE. The station is one of the top college radio stations in the country, and was recently named "Coolest Radio Station" by Playboy Magazine. I've worked for our sports department doing news reports, play-by-play and analysis, I attempted a 24 hour remote broadcast of our Relay-For-Life event last year that unfortunately got rained out, and I've had a regular DJ time slot each week.
For awhile now, I've been applying and attempting to get what's called a "specialty show" on video games. Essentially, what I've been trying to create is a one hour talk show about the latest video game news, updates on ESPORTS (similar to our sports department, which I spent a semester working for and got to do some fun play-by-play work for local high school games), and interviews with people.
This semester, with a little bit of pleading my case, I finally received my specialty show "Game Over", from 5-6pm EST on Saturday Afternoons. I am really excited to bring the world of gaming to my classmates and people listening in over the internet. I would really appreciate people from Team Liquid tuning in to listen online and hopefully responding with feedback either here or through my show email goWGRE@gmail.com.
I will also be interviewing a writer from Team Liquid in the coming weeks, contagi0n, who has written many BW battle reports for the community since accepting a writers position last year. He's a great friend of mine, and I'm excited to bring him on the show.
TL;DR:

WHEN: Saturdays 5-6pm Eastern Standard Time
WHERE: If you'd like to listen live, go to this link and select your preferred stream http://www.depauw.edu/univ/wgre/listen.asp or if you happen to live in the Greencastle, Indiana area, tune into 91.5 FM. :D
WHY: For ESPORTS!
Thanks a ton, and I hope to get some great feedback after my first show!
EDIT 1: I go live in a half hour! Thanks to the few who said they were looking forward to my show! You can tune in via http://www.depauw.edu/univ/wgre/listen.asp
I also got confirmation from TL BroodWar writer Contag0n last night that he'll be on the show next week. I'll made an additional blog post with a chance to submit questions for him.
