EPTMy name's Henrique from Portugal, 19 and currently I'm studying at an university. My ingame alias for SC2 is flashmob. I've been wandering around the SC2 scene for about a year now due to a DreamHack stream I believe that was passed to me by a team mate of my CS:S team, which I currently compete with, so I'm not new to e-Sports. He gave me that stream by pure chance because he doesn't even follow it, he thought it was a Source stream but I ended up watching it and it really intrigued me. After that game I was so curious I bought the game almost immediatly and started playing a bit of Campaign wondering why wasn't I aware RTS could be so much fun.
However when I played my first 1v1's online on the practice league I kinda felt bad, I never got owned so badly before in a game since I first started FPS gaming and I kinda stopped playing it until I found about day9's dailies, I started watching them quite a bit and I started understanding why and how would players do A, B or C and when I re-started playing those practice league matches I was placed on Silver! I'd say I'm a Bronze level player because I never ever played this genre and I simply don't feel anywhere near confident in my game when I play Silver league matches, my wins have been few and they were always base trades.
So, to the point, I finally decided I wanted to learn this game with the purpose of being the best player I could possibly be, competing or not. So I re-watched some of the day9 videos and I kinda followed his advice of coming here to find SC2 buddies! I tried to have my CS:S team to play this and my friends but they're not that interested in starting it or spending the money so I came to you (:.
I finally set that I want to go Zerg, atm I'm silver league in S3 so yeah, if you fancy playing, improving together, chatting about how bad I am or maybe grabbing an apprentice xd I can speak english and portuguese so if you speak any of those feel free to add:
