Hey all, been years since I've visited. I remember this one very interesting game that I can't seem to find.
It was a PvP, on a map similar to Plasma with a mix of a lot of high & low ground. It was in the early stages of an OSL/MSL (round of 32/24). One of the players ended up going carriers, the other didn't. They both managed to kill each other's base (at least the main bases) and the rest of the game turned into a nail-biting run around the map finding each other's last functional bases/hidden pylons/etc.
My memory says it definitely wasn't a bisu game, I don't think a stork game either. It could have been a best, a jangbi, or another toss who was a bit lower down.
My best guess is that it was during the season which was the golden age of toss (or whatever it was called) in like ~'08. It believe it was after Jaedong/Flash won their first titles, but during the period where they were both kinda slumping just before Jaedong emerged followed by Flash. But my memory might be flaky here.
I can't exactly remember tileset which is part of the problem. I had an inkling that it was desert tileset initially but as I went through those I didn't see any that jumped out at me. Jungle or badlands is also possible, but I might be off here.
Then I found plasma and that seemed to fit the bill, and even the much vs bisu game seems right... but I can't help but think that it was a game without a big name toss, and I can't help but think it was a more entertaining game.
My recollection is that the game made me pull for this particular toss for years to come. It would be someone like much or free... I don't think backho, but maybe?
Looking at it, it might have been colosseum? I see free vs jangbi & much vs anytime on that map and that is possibly the one I'm thinking of.. except for all the MSL games being gone.

At that time I was nearly religious about following all the VODs, and the only carrier PvPs that I can remember are Bisu vs Much on Plasma, which you already linked, and a 2007 Bisu vs Nal_rA game in the semifinal of the MSL that Bisu went on to win against Savior. That game was on the desert semi-island map with all the Xel'Naga Temples, and it involved Nal_rA making carriers and Bisu making Dark Archons, so I doubt it's what you're thinking of.

I dunno dude, it sounds a lot like Bisu vs Much to me... :-)
I thought their confrontation was recent. But this video is from 2010? Are there any competitions where players play online casino games like those found at https://casinoonline-cz.com/kasino/playamo/ ? If so, I would like to follow up to see how it goes. I have little experience in gambling and would like to learn from the professionals to make enough money.
Hey! I totally get the vibe you’re describing — sounds like an epic game. The Bisu vs Much match you linked is a good one, but if your memory says it's not quite it, it might be worth looking into games featuring Best or Jangbi around 2008, especially during that "Golden Age of Protoss." That era had some wild PvP matches, especially in early OSL/MSL rounds.
