I open gas first banshee. When I poke in with my scout hellion I spot that he's probably going blue flame hellion drop and confirm this when I pass his medvac in the air with my banshee. I tossed up turning around and following his drop into my base, but decided that the marines and marauder that I had back at base should be able to handle things. My banshee harass failed big time when I mis-micro'd and let it get killed by a turret (which I should have known was going to be there as my hellion saw him dropping the engy bay). My marines couldn't stop the drop getting down and I lost nearly all my SCV's.
I contemplated playing it out, but when I saw him coming over the map with a decent marine and tank force I decided to leave and write this one off as a total failure.
I've watched the replay through and noted down the build order that Chong used. Its definitely not optimal, I can spot a few ways to improve it and will give it a bash in future TvT's.
The main lesson from this game was simply that I need to react to what I scout. I saw he was building an engy bay, so I should have been way more careful with my banshee. I also scouted that he was heading towards blue flame hellion drops. I should have either held off with the banshee attack and used it to defend, or squeezed out the viking quicker and picked off the medvac before it was able to unload.
This one sums it up:
