Haven't been able to either play SC2 or producing any music lately (for you guys that read my blog occasionally ^^), I've been hanging out with my girlfriend and at my parents summer house. I got home the day before yesterday with nearly 2 weeks of vacation from my PC (cheated a bit - used mom's laptop few times to check TL =D).

Anyway when i got home i sat down and started to work on a song i recently started out on, i pretty much changed up everything and got a completly new sound that i like a lot.

The song is dedicated to the victims in Norway, god bless them :/

While this isn't the type of music I normally listen to, I can still appreciate the fact that it is good music. I was pretty impressed by the song, especially the melody that starts around 3:07 (that stretch was the catchiest part of the song IMO).

I'm thinking of extending that whole part you mentioned (and make more variations in the melody) instead of making a transition out of it.

I'll give more feedback later as im in a rush but I like it alot, you really need to turn down the high end on some of your snares etc...its REALLY ouchy on my monitors.

I reallllly like this one though, nice job
