So here I am, being inspired by the ever present korean broodwar scene, has managed to start playing broodwar again.
and the next thing that came by was RAGEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Considering that i had not touch broodwar for a year, my macro became dismal since i got too used to mbs + my scvs would not auto mine from rally point. so, not discourage, i continued to play, hoping that i can get a better feel of the game ( the lack of learning BO hurts me too much but i am too lazy to learn a BO -.- i should really get down to learning it throughly.)
what made me rage the most was that i played 2 TvTs with this guy. he opened vultures, and mined my natural while i made tanks and prepared to expand. and i decided to suicide 4 out of my 5 present tanks into mines cause i misclicked. the nxt moment a control group of vultures came to raid my main, and it wouldnt take a genius to know that i was severely behind even though i had 2 ccs. by the time i cleared his harass, i realised he had an operational third, and it went downhill from there.
next game, i rejoined him, and opened the same way. however, this time i took extra caution, and thus managed to succesfully deny his vulture harass, even when he continued to pressure me with constant vulture drops. confident that im having a lead, i proceeded to slowly contain him, only to slowly lose my entire advantage due to my lack of lategame management skills, where my army was constantly destroyed for no apparent reason.
i really need to learn how to hotkey on the fly and have a game sense on when to engage :/

Heh I got involved with TL though SC2 beta (Yes I'm one of those) But once I got here I jumped into the BW scene. Good god so amazing, I've been hooked every since. Naturally I pulled out my old copy of BW from when I was a kid and installed it. My friend and I played a few games. You know when your leg falls asleep then is in the process of waking up it gets that weird tingly feeling. Try to walk on that leg - you nearly fall and end up stumbling in weird funny pain. That is what me playing BW was like...
Edit: I realized my post didn't really reference the OP. Well good on you for getting back into BW

Mmm, I was never particularly good at brood war and I started playing some more recently and I keep getting hard rolled by everybody, I always have like 2k minerals in the bank and it really makes me mad because I never have enough hatches to produce from >.>.
@OP Whats ur max rank?

This is why i play nexus games. The macro part of BW is just too hard and frustrating, better to stick to the fun part - the micro.

Yeah you get kinda screwed by SCII if you wanna play BW again. no mbs, no automine, can't see hotkeys, limited unit selection, you can't select a bunch of scv's and build shitload of rax or depos at once, you have to build with scv by scv. The macro is so much harder. GL in BW

yeah too many inconvenient things like the hotkeys.... O for siege mode and OV i heard...
And if you get storm droped, reaver dropped, recalled, T-mech dropped, Z-Doom Drop, Lurker Dropped
U have to move all your SCV's 12 at a time

It will come back to you faster than you think... I have the most problems playing SC2 BW because everything looks like SC2 so I try to play as if it were SC2. I can get some semblance of what I could do in BW (not much) within a few games because so much of it is pretty much muscle memory. You lose muscle memory with SC2BW.

Oh I remember that xD. Tho I was only playing a month or two beta period time of SC2 I remember it throwing off whole BW game sense, it was like playing with no hands, felt awkward . Not that I had much knowledge or mechanics to be thrown off the balance in the first place but still... If it soothes you the game feeling comes back really really fast
