(Hopefully I'm putting this in the right place, if not then mods please delete/move it.)
Seeing as the Korean and Taiwan server are about to be merged. I was wondering how to buy a Taiwan copy (Since the Korean version requires a KSSN) hopefully the Taiwan version doesn't require a ssn.
I'm looking for whatever is the cheapest be it retail or digital. The only ways I have to pay are paypal and a few (US) credit cards. Please no shady PM's or whatnot I'm just looking for links to reputable looking websites/auction sites.
Hopefully this thread will also help out anybody else looking for a copy.

Seeing as the Korean and Taiwan server are about to be merged. Whoa, really? Do you have a source on this?

I've been wondering about this... How it works as in if I buy a Taiwan account, I can communicate and play all of the features on KR. It's not very clear at the moment which is why I'm withholding my money.

Holy shit, next time I go back to Taiwan to visit my grandma, I'm definitely buying a copy.

just went on blizzard's taiwan site to buy a copy, asked me for a "NID". Any ideas?

On the buysc2.tw website, to register you need to provide a TAIWAN ROC ID (身分証字號).

Mind explaining what a ROC ID is and that site looks pretty shady.

Wouldn't a SEA account be a Taiwan account? (Not 100% sure)

I'll wait for a moderator to give permission. I don't want to cross any lines. ^^
edit: in the meanwhile, a decent 30-45 minutes of google-fu is all it took. It's not cheap. Not at all.

Really? Do you really need a Taiwan ID number to play on the tw server? i know HK you can buy both the SEA and TW version of starcraft 2 in retail stores, and I know there is people in HK which play on the TW server.
