With that said, I can see why some of the things Riku says could lead others to jump to those conclusions or rub people the wrong way. We will always judge others regardless of the medium. Even if you aren't aware of it. Too bad much is lost over the internet. It's one of the worst mediums to communicate your ideas. One reason I don't text, use facebook or twitter for that matter. If I want to talk to someone I'll meet them somewhere. I digress. Let's revisit the notion of judging and first impressions. This isn't some new phenomena. Men do it just as much as women; although, our protocols are slightly different though. Considering very few women post on these forums... I find myself repeating the same question! What the hell did you expect? These scenarios will stick out like a sore thumb. ETT gets it. We should be happy to have such women like NeverGG and Riku be part of our community. | ||

Seriously, you are just jealous that when you blog/post this many people dont respond to you. or else why would you give two shits about how many responses she gets? Like seriously, who are you kidding, you are just jealous that a girl gets more attention than you on a SC2 site, when you OBVIOUSLY know more about SC2. Guess what...people are going to always give more attention to the most obviously different post/poster because we get 1,000's of blog posts from nerdy guys, whereas we get 1/1000 from nerdy girls so everyone is more interested in the stuff they dont read in every blog. But keep crying "attention whore" it will seriously get you more attention....(/sarcasm) And who the hell cares if she wants attention? If you are so offended by her wanting attention why are you giving it to her by posting in her blog thread? Dear Riku, You can have my attention anytime. =). PS. I would have totally given you a ride home i was at Blizzcon 2008,9,10, and will be there this year as well. And not as a creeper or anything, cause i had a gf at the time, but because I am just a nice guy and live locally in so-cal. Also, to comment about why the nerdy attendants of Blizzcon don't talk to you is simply (well i had a gf during the past 3 blizzcons so I guess this is just my pretty accurate assumption.) because they don't want you to think they are one of "those nerdy creepy guys who hit on me just cause im the cute girl at the convention. People dont wanna be those creepy guys who hit on you,etc. because everyone assumes that you are getting hit on by super nerdy guys every 10 feet, and dont want to be one of those creepers. Just my $.02 tho, I know this is how my friend is, cause when we would go I would jokingly say "go say hi to her" and nod at any cute girl at blizzcon but he just would say "and be one of the 10000 drooling nerds who are going to hit on her this weekend? Ya I am sure she would love that." IDK just my thoughts/opinion, everyone assumes you are getting so many creepers/so much attention they dont want to be annoying to you.
