struck me in the mid of the week. Lab reports were pilling up
and deadlines are getting closer and closer. I worked long hours
to get everything done and also prepare for an exam (this week)
So, on good old tuesday, its another lab ongoing in a computer lab.
Microprocessor lab went on fine, results acquired without 'much' trouble. And so I prepare to print 2 of my Robotic Systems lab reports
due the next day aka Wednesday.
**Accesses pendrive**
**Looks for Folder**
**Folder Missing**
WHAT THE #%(#$#)?!
It turns out the coms were hit by viruses, infecting my thumbdrive as well.
The files are gone. NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Not only my lab reports are gone but also my drafts for my current writing works in progress. That moment was consider a moment of FML.
All that hard work, all gone......FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
Well, I had to live with it and so I began to make a new folder and reacquire the lecture notes.
PING
"DO YOU WANT TO REPLACE THIS FOLDER?"
...........Wad??
"DO YOU WANT TO REPLACE THIS FOLDER?"
Click Yes
Nothing.
It still got me thinking. HMMMMMMMMMMM, something's not right. I couldn't see the files at all even though I set windows to reveal the hidden files as well.
It kept asking to replace this folder which doesn't pop it out to view. Thus, I tried another option I know. Mr Command Prompt aka DOS.
cd ..
cd ..
F:\
cd KNG
F:\KNG
Dir
**LIST OF FILES**
SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was the moment I just had to say thank god. Eventually I managed to use CMD commands to copy the files out to my netbook and reformat the pendrive.
It did take a little memory work since I had to use the cd command to enter the folder. TLDR: Files recovered without damage =D.
Now, it's another week upcoming and I'm starting to feel a bit apprehensive of what I have to face. Seeing the further chapters of Robotic Systems make me go @@.
Why maths is a universal language?

Because it almost looks alien
Nevertheless, I will persevere and step by step learn something new everyday. /End story. Have a good day TL.
