I took the liberty of devising a lecture plan for studying the marvelous game of Starcraft: Brood War, the original backbone of this community, as if it was a standard curricular activity integrated in our educational system. As this is only the first draft so to speak, I am welcoming more experienced players to contribute and to state their opinion. The end result could be a well organized and insightful Guide reflecting our enthusiasm and passion. A plan for someone who graduated from the university of starcraft to go by, when trying to form the talent of the next generation of bright students.
Chapter One: Broodwar Camp (age 10-15). Classes in the morning followed by Sports and Games. Practice in the afternoon followed by expeditions into nature, theater project, campfire, scary story telling and all that good jazz.
Lecture 1: From clueless to interested. Practice #0: Demonstration matches teacher vs teacher, followed by a FFA on BGH for volunteers (Projector needed)
Lecture 2: From skeptical to n00b. Practice #1: Trying out the mechanics

Would you send your kids to Broodwar Camp if Day[9], Tossgirl, Bisu, Chill and Combat-Ex- were the teachers? >^.^<

I think these people being teachers together would be the weirdest part of camp.

Take Combat-Ex out and yeah, sure. I know how to cheese already.

Sounds interesting. What country are you planning this in?
I would think kids aged 10-15 would find BW's graphics terrible if they have been exposed to 360/ps3 games and might find it too slow paced. Then again, if they fight each other they might develop a competitive passion for the game.I hope your project goes well.

i'm so confused about the choice of the teachers...

sounds cool! Professor Combat-Ex lol Like the thought really. Get kids young interested in the game and theres a lot of different activities you could do.

Romania. We're always like 15 years behind so it's perfect. Plus it's cheap and we still have some nature despite our government selling it fast to corrupt rich assholes.
Canada would be awesome too though. Or maybe Switzerland? This would be our HQ
