Ok I know this is unorthodox, but I have been having some crazy success with it. I am not the best player, top of platinum, but this build hasn't failed me yet for any race. The kicker, it only works close spawn, far rush distances just allows the enemy to have too much forces. Here is the build:
9 pylon chrono at 10 probes 12 gate chrono 2 more probes up to 14 14 gate get a zealot out of the first gate, it will get done right as second gate finishes when second gate finishes 2 more zealots simultaneously. You will then have three zealots. GO PRESSURE! After the 14 gate chrono out 2 more probes then a pylon at 16 Keep chronoing probes. Depending how the opponent is reacting either build a couple more zealots and/or build a assimilator then core sooner or later. I usually transition into 3 gate robo or 4 gate but for close spawn man this build has been doing great for me against diamonds and plats. After the initial build has gone down i usually go into one base colo or i expand. depends on how the game is going. I am probably going to get chastised for this, you trolls can kiss my a**, I have been doing this at all but the highest level and it has been working, I hope more people find success with this!

this is like reinventing 2 gate zealot
What matchup? Haha. I assume PvP..
From the thread title, it gave the same feel as the 10/15 build of Protoss back in SC1.
isnt 10 15 dragoon pressure? :s
Yup, 10/15 build is usually used in PvT or PvP to pressure with dragoons. :D
It's the Protoss version of the Terran 2 Fac but it aims to contain the enemy, it's not used as much now since there's siege expand and 1 gate robo variants that would put the10/15 user to an economic disadvantage.
Oh wait, we're derailing this we might get warned. lol.
Well I don't play SC2 but I think the basics of SC:BW carries over. Since this build relies heavily to spawn positions, scouting after pylon (BW standard) would be good as to get a feel whether or not you should push through with the rush build. If you're playing on a 4 player map, you might need to send 2 scouts, one on each nearest spawns, it might take a slight hit on you eco but it's better than committing to a rush to have it wasted. If you do find one near you, try probe harass to screw around, might help you to throw him off balance. Well if you successfully delay his eco, I think any solid transition build and scouting for hidden bases would secure your win.

I've used it on all races. Works best on xel naga either with a toss or a fast expanding zerg is what I've found so far. Worked on a couple diamond terrans as well if they dont have a bunker, 3 to 5 zealots wreak havok. Thanks for posting!

what a crazy build order. 2 gate zealot from beta. lol.
"ive been doing is to all but the highest level" - top platinum player.
you know that from platinum to diamond, master, grandmaster and pro is a longer way then from bronze to platinum?
your build sucks, its based on luck, missmicroing and missjudging of the opponent and works - if it does - once.
€: oh, even NA platinum. i guess i could to this with my teeth... no offense, but i dont get how platinum players can even think about strategies on their own. its complete bullshit
Thanks for your input. Positive feedback please. I predicted the chastising, if you don't like it, doesn't mean it sucks.
he might be a bit harsh, but he speaks truth, this is an OLD build, it was standard for awhile in pvz. If youre in plat just play some standard non-gimmicky builds so you get better
Ah thanks I didn't know that. I usually go with a 2 gate robo FE or 3 gate robo. I just started having some success with this on close spawns and small maps and wanted to share it. I really don't think it is gimmicky, after the first zealot push you are left with a good amount of econ and a good amount of viable options to transition into even if the zealots don't do that much just their presence makes your opponent react.
Thanks. I'm gonna keep rollin with it until it starts doing bad for me.
at which point you will have no idea how to play properly and will lose miserably till you drop back down to the point where this works half the time.
Thats the point people are making.
I realize this is not a go-to all the time build order but it doesn't mean that it doesn't have its purpose. I don't use this build every time nor will I ever, but when you are close and feel like being aggressive it definitely has its perks
Kinda reminds of this:
http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Adel& It is very viable in close rush distances. (Maybe just metalopolis close ground in the current ladder pool).
Don't worry about the chastising - if it works abuse until it stops

I really have to say, your comments on 10/15 are wrong.
It is exclusively used vs Terran and exclusively used on maps without a ramp. Since you have to cut a lot of probes to do the build, the purpose is not to contain but to perform economic damage or hopefully kill your opponent.
Anyway this is basically the standardest 2gate ever that people have been doing for YEARS in Brood War (except the food counts are slightly different for obvious reasons)
