Any non-kingdom hearts fans should probably just skip the kingdom hearts section, as they will just get confused.
Kingdom Hearts
I have this problem where whenever I actually have stuff(read: School) to do, instead of playing Starcraft 2, I play Kingdom Hearts. It's kinda a stress reaction. These games are the most stress relieving games, even though I play them on the highest difficulty. I've beaten the DS and gameboy games, and now I'm playing through birth by sleep and Kingdom hearts 1.
From left to right, Aqua, Ventus, Terra.
My preferred style of play is to go through the game at whatever speed I want on proud, while keeping a farming critical version of the character stuck at the beginning of the game, leveling the dump outta himself.
So far, I have beaten the game as Terra and Ventus at level 30.
Terra's final boss was probably some of the most fun I've had playing kingdom hearts, as it was essentially fighting a fully leveled version of yourself that is even stronger, while I was 40 levels before the max level and hadn't obtained any of the rediculous things the boss had, 2 hours of bliss.
Ventus's final boss was kinda dissapointing, but I did get Ars Arcanum and 4 Curagas and just basically defeated the boss through inability to die in 30 mins. kinda fun.
Music
I never really intended to become the musician I am in 9th grade(AGE SPOILERS OMG), but it just kinda happened. Throughout 5-8th grade I was in choir because...I don't know. But i tried out out for solos and chamber choirs and got in and by 8th grade, I was the sole heart of the choir and achieved the choral director's award:DD
So now I've become this guy with a large range, good sightreading and pitch, and a 1 year piano player. As tychus findlay would say, "Dayum, Bippzy"
My plans for next year are as follows:
My school's a cappella choir, which is ranked AA in contest and consistently gets ones at contest. It's just a beast. Also, Our school is doing beauty and the beast for the musical, so I am hoping to get cogsworth, mainly because of his name.
The West Shore Chorale
I was tricked into singing Verdi's rediculous italian opera, Aita, with this choir, while I thought I was singing the modern musical Aita. Nevertheless, it helped my on the fly sightreading out tremendously and I actually enjoyed the experience. I sent them an email a few weeks ago, and because i sung with them for Aita, I get a free pass into the choir this fall. Score! Way outta my league choir!
Cleveland Orchestra Youth Chorus
Awkward photo!
This is the extremely nice man that I got to audition to, attempting to get into the choir. This guy is nicer than grubby. Way too nice. Since I do not know the results yet, I'll just describe the audition in here:
I walked in and shook his hand and it was all smiles from the start because of how cool he looked. Then, he introduced me to this super cool looking asian kid who was his pianist. He also looked really cool. I sung my solo. Then, I was asked to sing it with no reserve, otherwise known as singing as loud as possible. I did, and he said he liked my baritone voice. How flattering. After that, I was supposed to sightread something with the piano. He asked me the key and timing, and what with me being a piano player, I got that down easily. I BOMBED the sightreading with the piano. like, 6/30 notes correct. It was bad. I maintained a calm demeanor, but deep inside I was shatting my pants. So, the nice man told me to sing it without the piano. Interestingly, I sung it perfectly. He was so impressed, atleast from my impression. He kept on telling me how I should lead the piano, and not vice versa. Finally, I had to sing some complex note patterns. I got them all completely right everytime, and he once again sounded impressed and decided I didn't need to do all of them! What a relief.
Finals
I have finals next week(which conveniently means the return of myself to Starcraft 2 and the ditching of Kingdom hearts).
So I will be studying. Plenty. Biology, Spanish 2, Human History 2. They aren't hard classes, but they are too much work to just know all the material. Luckily, I'm getting away with multiple choice finals for all these tests.
Epilogue
I'm kinda in rare form today, I don't prefer to post my goings on on the interwebs. But all I do all day is talk talk talk to girls and listen to them, and so I never get to tell everyone all the cool things I do. Thanks, teamliquid<3
