EPTAs many of you already know I will probably be having a major surgery to correct one botched previously. This sort of eliminates the possibility for a real vacation where I travel far for a long time. So I might try to go to MLG Anaheim as a substitute for something of that nature.
Before we get to that, however there is a local LAN (BATTL) this weekend. I have a project to do, which I probably can get done on Sunday but I don’t want to risk it. But because it goes late, and my parents do not directly know the organizers, even if I get the project sorted out early in the day, I may not be able to go. It also doesn’t help that my parents bitterly distrust anything teamliquid related. I’m not sure if I could attend in any case, but what arguments could be made for attending.
Back on the subject of MLG Anaheim
If I do wish to attend MLG Ahaheim, and my surgery is at a date which accommodates this, there are various logistics problems. Although my brother has attended multiple “pokemon” events none have been overnight, and have been to compete, and not to spectate. I’m not sure how my parents would react: probably negatively: to me doing this. I think they would let me out of guilt, but I hate for that to be the motivating factor. Assuming I do go what is there to do at an MLG. Could my dad find anything to do. I know there is lots of stuff in Anaheim >.>
In any case I’d have to find some of you guys to hang with there. Hope you guys wouldn’t mind my malingering presence

Peripherals:
Probably going to get steelseries earbuds, because there haven’t been any better recommendations in the price range. I’ll also need to replace the headphone jack on my px100, the jack is a little screwed up. I have to sort of bend it.
My dad got a $10 coupon to bestbuy, so I think I’ll get a blackwidow for 50 bucks. Sure there are probably better keyboards, but for that price…

The braided cord gets caught on the edge of my desk.
