I am by no means an expert but they had asked me to contribute to the blog, I'm wondering if any of you would be interested in leaving some feedback for me on the actual blog.
Here is an excerpt
With the release of WP7, Microsoft is clearly sending a message to Apple, Google and RIM. Not wanting to be left in the dust, Microsoft has decided to completely scrap Windows 6.5 and redesign a completely new OS, which I might add is very fluid, responsive and intuitive to use.
“Smartphone vendors will ship more than 450 million smartphones in 2011 compared to the 303.4 million units shipped in 2010,” says IDC
Microsoft is putting themselves into a great position to solidify their market share, and improve on it year after year. With constant features and updates planned for the first year alone (come on flash 10.1!), it’s looking like Microsoft is really digging their feet in. Don’t expect them to be going anywhere anytime soon. With the planned “Mango” update for WP7 scheduled for later this year, Microsoft is planning a plethora of features to be added, some of which include: Lync integration (a Lync app for WP7 is rumored) as well as more exchange integration. (Accessing email that was deleted from your handset but is still stored on your exchange server) and Twitter integration. Initially, WP7 handsets are syncing with Exchange Server 2007, Exchange Server 2010 and the current version of Exchange Online; later, syncing with Exchange Online 2010 and SharePoint Online 2010.
Any feedback/thoughts please share, it's my first attempt at an actual blog, so be gentle.
