Which team is that? I tried searching him on ESEA but couldn't find anything. I'm just curious because I'm an EU TF2 player, and I don't know much about the US scene so I'm curious. Which invite player was it?

I'd give up on SC2, it's no fun when not played hardcore unless you're really good already and can just mess around when playing.
You can still enjoy casted games without actively playing at high level.

What was your alias in cod4 and team? Just curious, unless you didn't want to post it.

It was the open team viper gaming, and they were carried by boogie (mostly) and st.patrick (a little)

You realise masters in 250 games isn't even good? apart from QL none of those games are even hard... pretty thinly veiled brag blog imo. Anyway play sc2 since the scene is a lot better and much more financially viable than QL and its only gonna get better as the scene grows even more

Just have fun man, though it seems sc2 would be the most likely for you to be successful at since you can play/practice anytime of day/night. Also you don' t need to rely on teammates to practice, though practice partners are definitely helpful.
