I haven't been able to get my audacity recordings to sync with my fraps video due to a stutter when recording the video. Normally I don't show my FPS but for kicks and giggles I turned it on. Randomly I drop from 60 fps to 5-10 fps. This causes the audio and video to de-sync toward the end of all my videos. Anyone have a recommendation for a good frame rate to shoot for when recording?
I'm running an i7 w/ 4G of RAM (and 2G dedicated on my video card) so I'm confident the issue isn't a hardware one. I have been recording at a stupidly high resolution, resulting in 30-150G videos.

I'm very excited because I feel like I'm almost where I need to be. Then it is going to be a matter of practice practice practice! Can't wait.
Oh, and because I'm shameless and he is awesome, here is my brother's newest song (laid back acoustic jam)! Hold Me
