This was 1 of 2 of my ideas for a blog entry (hopefully I'll write the other one tomorrow)
Originally supposed to be titled "Weird Habits Your Parents Have", I thought it to be more interesting if it didn't exclude siblings, friends, pets, teachers etc.
Re: weird stuff my parents do, my dad likes to drink milk/juice/soda until there's less than 1 serving left and just leave it till someone finishes and throws the container away. This afternoon he also left the carton out of the fridge.
My mom almost ALWAYS calls immediately after ending a phone call, returns home after leaving to check or grab something (not just the gas mind you), and busies herself without taking her seat at mealtimes even after the rest of us have started eating and asks her to join us.
How bout you TL?

I feel like if I don't do a dry 30 minute run of talking to myself before I have to speak in front of a group of more than 10 people, I'll fucking die of anxiety because I tend to slur my words if I don't 'warm up' the speech area of my brain

1. I cant look at loadings, seriously I always look out of the window or at the roof.
2. I have to look into the fridge every time I go around.

That sounded a lot more disgusting than i think you meant.
My brother has to check what he is wearing like 5 times before he will leave his room/bathroom, even if he is just like going into the kitchen. he has to look perfect.

I do this too, particularly the rubber or plastic things inside the caps of beer or soda.

When I hear something funny I immediately repeat it, out loud. Sometimes very embarrassing cuz I'll do it 50 times during one funny movie :-(

when someone says anything like "Thats stupid" or "that looks really funny" or "That..." anything really, i often times have the urge to come back with "YOU'RE stupid"
i mean like, for random shit. "Thats just a sandwich" "YOURE just a sandwich"
a girl once said "Thats just too girly"
"YOURE too girly" really stupid shit comes out of my mouth.

I chew stuff too. Especially pencils, which sucks because the yellow paint and eraser rubber sometimes comes off in your mouth. Let's see... I have a weird habit of triple checking that I sent my text messages to the right person, even if all the text says is 'ok'. Besides a nervous tick or two, I also have a weird fascination with those butterfly paperclips.

I have loads of weird habits;
1. I count magpies according to some rhyme I heard when I was a kid.
2. I hate things being crooked and have to straighten them immediately.
3. I always eat in reverse order - things I like least are eaten first.
4. I find myself speaking more Korean when I'm tired.
5. I don't like drinking out of mugs. I'm not even sure why, but I'll always pick a glass instead.
6. I like to tell myself my schedule in the morning out loud (not in public lol.)

I blink more with my right eye, it's really annoying sometimes
I also pick up random things and start to play with them just to have something to do with my hands.

I wash my hands after every 2 games or so.
I can't stand the feeling of hands getting even slightly sticky/dry when I'm playing SC2 :x

I wash my hands constantly too... I also can't stand using other peoples computers when they have a sticky keyboard and mouse. It just feels so dirty
Pixels not lining up properly on website layouts also drives me mad. Internet Explorer and I don't get along very well.
Otherwise I'm completely normal... I think.

I originally intended to ask about others' habits cos there's already a thread for own habits =P still its a good find.
There's this stray cat that always hides in a shallow drain under the (<2 metre-wide) pavement instead of the spacious ground floor.
There's also this old woman (we have cat-women, but these are senior citizens who go around feeding cats instead of Halle Berry) who has been feeding cats in the area for over 10 (!) years and she has to go around with an umbrella as a walking stick /respect
