MLG Dallas Day 1 Semi-Live blog!

So far, I've only really been able to walk around and say hello to all of my StarCraft 2 buddies, the MLG folks that are always so awesome, and the tournament admins and casters. Meeting a lot of people for this first time as well, like Spazzer from SpazCraft, ThunderToss, and CatsPajamas. Should be an amazing event, but I can basically promise you the chairs won't fill up for the stage games today. The spectator count is actually significantly lower than I expected for a first day. I will be able to pop in from time to time and update this original post and add pictures and things. Here's a little teaser to start us off:

I'm chatting it up with all the Euro players, Fnatic guys, Root guys, VT, sixjax, EG, FXO, and of course compLexity Gaming. Always a joy seeing all of these folks. I've seen Grubby during practice but I didn't want to disturb him. I met his wife and manager Cassandra down in the "media dungeon" and a nice conversation. Chobopeon was there too, nice to meet him as well. More pictures are on the way, keep checking back every hour or so! Games are starting very soon. It will be interesting to see how the three stages work out being so near each other.
