I also heard HuK got reseeded because he decided to show... + Show Spoiler + Extremely well played April Fools- at first I thought this post was about last year's MLG Dallas (where nearly all the above problems existed) Although, the HuK thing I still don't know if it's really an April Fools joke or not... | ||

10) All games will be broadcast from replays. They said this was to avoid any problems at the live event being evident on the stream, and because they can’t set up sound-proof booths so they’re worried that the casting may be audible. The players will play all games online, then someone will come around, put the replays on a flash drive, and deliver the replays to the event supervisor, who will choose what games and series will be broadcast based on game length, quality, players, etc. Seems inane for a live tournament, but what do I know? this is probably an Aprl Fool's joke, but I have no problem with this at all and actually like this solution due to not having player booths available. I prefer knowing that the results of games are completely due to player skill than wondering if either commentary or audience noise clued a player in on something that was going to or will happen. | ||
