So it is that time of year where sports fans around the nation (USA) pull out their march madness brackets for the NCAA basketball national championship, but this year us lucky nerds are given the opportunity to create our own march madness with TSL3. Let me tell you today was filled with seat edge excitement and a bunch of bracket killers. With HuK losing in to Hasuobs in a wild PvP set, and then every TLers heart exploding with every baneling Morrow sent to our hero Jinro's base my bracket, probably 90% of everyones' brackets, got destroyed along with our hearts. (I had Jinro taking it all)
However, when you look at in from the broad sense of "March Madness," wasn't that just as exciting, if not more, then watching a college basketball game in the final 10 seconds when down 1? I mean I was sitting here praying that HuK would scout his base in game three. I pleaded with Jinro via the internet to do something different in game three against Morrow. Truly the excitement of TSL 3 has hit everyone with 50,000 people watching today.
Every nerd fiber in my body was excited with the games today and it was only day 2. I can't wait to see what other highs and lows TSL 3 will bring over the next couple weeks. A Cinderella story? An epic clash of two monster? Neither? Who knows, but let us create our own March Madness as gamers and see where this epic bracket will take us.
