Then I opened your spoiler and I'll be honest.. I might have orgasm'd a little.

This write-up was pretty epic! It has me psyched to see if he can live up to the hype!

Great writeup! I'm behind Tyler all the way! If his annihilation of Jinro in the PAX series didn't say something then I don't know what does.
|
the OP neglects to mention Tyler's complete disassembling of Jinro in their showmatch, despite Jinro having lived and trained in Korea for months upon months at this point.

Different era, different times.
F91 crushed Tyler, IefNaij, Idra, one after the other.

Great post but you're leaving out a very important topic.
How Nony fucking crushed his first Courage tournament in Korea compared to any other foreigner in the history of BW. Courage tournament is one of the hardest things for any amateur and even many korean progame team practice partners to over come. Even Idra with all his skill was not able to get a progamer license through courage.

Great read.
Puts a nice spin on Tyler's TSL history and what we expect from him in this tournament.
|
NonY is such a badass name he needs to switch back right before his first TSL3 match.
|
Tyler > IdrA in a grudgematch finals.
YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST.

I hope he will do well in TSL3. I love watching his games and his unique builds inspired me so much.
Go,Go Tyler

I think he's going to have a tough time against Strelok in TSL3, I hope he proves me wrong. It's hard to say where he's at since I never see him play any tournies. He was a great BW player, whether his mechanics skills have moved over to SC2 I'm not sure.

It was little more than a showmatch though, and taking place just before TSL I doubt either of them showed their best play and builds. I wouldn't read too much into that.

Great read. I do hope that NoNy once again can be amongst the great. He has a tough road ahead of him but that should be old news for him by now.

That TSL1 intro brings back some very strong emotions, soo good. NonY fighting!

I loved that game, got it saved on my harddrive too.
Tyler is my favorite foreign Protoss, he's gonna win TSL3 easily if he practices hard as we all know he has was it takes

NonY has always been a hero of mine. And has 'appeared' in my dreams several times. The only one I remember is he was getting drunk in my garage building a rube goldberg machine and I couldn't park my van.
I *really* want to see him pop up again. This reminds me of my favorite moments of my favorite passion at it's peak. TSL1 and Ascension.
That intro made me pretty emotional, actually. Too much nostalgia and has me missing the 'golden years'.

Tyler should definitely name change back to NonY, such a sick name. I really want Tyler to do good, If he can get out of round 32 I'll be happy. He has a pretty hard seed, I hope all practicing on the Korean server will pay off
