Hello everyone! If anyone remembers me (which I highly doubt) I'm the nerd who last posted a blog about how much he loves his new motherboard and windows 7:

Well I'm back with some up to date specs on my computer! And I have some things to say about my upgrades.
Current rig specs:
Windows 7 64-bit Home premium
ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 AM3-AMD 890GX chipset
AMD Phenom II x6 1090T
Corsair H50 running as a push/pull-intake configuration
1 TB WD Caviar black HDD
4GB G.Skill DDR3 1333 RAM (7-7-7-21)
X2 AMD 6870 CrossfireX [One MSI, the other an HIS.]
Thermaltake Black widow 850watt modular PSU
All inside of a Lancool PC-K62 case.
I have a problem with the HIS AMD 6870. I'm a first time user of Crossfire, or any multi-GPU set up for the matter, but I've noticed this card runs significantly hotter than its MSI counterpart. I don't know if its because that's just how CrossfireX works out, or the position of the GPU within my case, but the GPU will usually run between 7 to 10c higher than the MSI card!
While playing the Cysis 2 demo, the MSI card will hover around the relatively standard load temps for a 6870, between 70-75c. But during load, the HIS card has been wondering into the 80s. After a round or two of the crysis 2 demo (on 'GAMER' settings, because personally I can't tell the difference between either of the graphical settings other than lower FPS...) the HIS topped out at a pretty toasty 85c. :O
I bought the MSI 6870 when the cards were first released at $249. When buying the 2nd GPU I saw this version was only ~$214. I guess that's the difference you pay for better cooling!
I've turned into an AMD/ATI user. Or is it AMD/AMD nowadays? Lol. I just thought I would post this blog with my current system and my two cents on the HIS 6870 because I work 11pm-7AM tomorrow and I'm staying up all night tonight to get into the schedule. :D
Anybody feel free to post your rigs as well! AMD or Nvidia, show your colors! :D

Also I need some input on a possible blog series in the distant future:
Currently my father is a sergeant for the Ormond Beach Police Department in Volusia county Florida. I am interested in following his footsteps and becoming an officer as well! But to the point...
I'm thinking about blogging about it. :D
I've noticed over the years my father become more paranoid. More impatient (desiring the facts of the conversation and not the story) etc. And I am aware that my personality may change or may not due to the stresses of patrol duty as an officer. But I want to not only blog about how I feel myself changing during the experience of becoming an officer. But to share it with people as well, and maybe give some people some insight into the life of an officer. From enrolling into the police academy, to patrolling the streets.
So my quesiton is this:
