EPTI've yet to decide what race to play, and what maps to play. I'm gonna ignore the race dilemma until I start to play, but it's certainly looking like I'm going for T, mainly because it's the funniest mirror. But I have two accounts or perhaps even three, so I will have a few days to decide.
Truth is, I haven't played a single game of the 'new' maps. But that certainly doesn't scare me since I've understood the basics of them. I just see it as more things to learn!
Things that needs to get better before I can get to masters:
1. Scouting
I'm horrible at scouting. I think this is a problem that I've had even since Wc3. I was horrible at it then, and I'm horrible at it now. The real issue might be that I'm not very good at multitasking and get lost with either macro or micro. I remember Trump saying (it wasn't founded by him I belive) that scouting information should be regarded as a third resource. And I like that way of thinking.
Minerals = Check.
Gas = Check.
Info = Check.
2. The multitasking
As previous stated, I need to work on my multitasking. My macro and micro are OK, but i can't really harass / scout and macro at the same time. The best way to improve this would actually be to use more workers to scout, and use more harassment style of play with drops etc. (Really sounds like I'm gonna go for T, doesn't it? :p)
So. When starting, I will focus on getting more info, and harassing more.
