So this is 'hopefully the first of many', just curious if the rest will be sc related as well/if this is part of a large project/whatever else you are willing to tell us about it.

The rest will indeed be SC related unless I get a very specific request from alot of people.
For me these sculpts are for good fun and practice, I've had a hard time feeling motivated these last few months about my art so since TL is such a nice place I feel like I can find some people who are willing to watch and comment/critique my work.
Also this zergling specificaly I made becase I've had it in my head for such a long time, I want Mr.Bitter to use it for his coaching shows and stuff as promotional art. In fact Id like everyone who feels strongly enough about my art to use it as they see fit on their banners and such.
All in all its a personal project but one that can reach alot of people I think.
Not much more than that to say other than thank you again to everyone who watched and all of you who are kind enough to drop a comment on this blog post ! =)

Oh thats really, really cool. Well done.
|
It's pretty, and not to take anything away from your effort and it IS well done, but looks like it has a huge lower jaw, like a T-rex or something.
Chinling? :O
|
Well the reference I used did not give me that many angles to work with, I also tried to remember the 3d portrait from the game as best as I could.
I sort of like it tho hehe ! :D
|
Oh yea, I remember the SC2 portrait now, I'm more used to seeing this ^
I wonder where the face horns came from? (In SC2 that is)
Still, larger chin than normal still stands
I wish I was good at art though, never be able to make something like that. Ever.
Good job, wasn't trying to take anything away from it~

Well it is a 3d model I would just have to upload it somewhere but I don't really see the point in that, what would you want to do with it?

I know a guy who could print it in 3d in plastic. all i need is like a 3ds model.
